never believable, and it was a pointless storyline, i'm glad they repaired the damage later on. sadly they dont end up together, doestn make sense , that always left me unsettled. i wanted so badly for them to have their happy ending.

I agree. It was totally inconsisent with his character. He was much smarter and honest than that. But then, the show hit its low points in seasons 6 - 8.

Actually, the show's low points were seasons 9-10, the D/K seasons. =)

All I remember is the characters started acting so gay and obnoxious around season 6 or 7, and by season 9 they had pretty much gotten past that.

I could certainly do without all those stupid musical acts too.

Regardless, seasons 2 - 5 are just awesome.

only basic ideas that were conveyed by the show- the walshes are the main characters, dylan and brenda were an unlikely couple that resulted n massive chemistry/love and brandon and kelly same, made complete sense by season 5. that leaves kelly and dylan-boring, predictable, two BH characters same background, no storyline, no excitement.

(this is not a reply to lafferty) Why do people comment on 90210 and they don't know alot about it? Gabrielle was 6 years younger than James Eckhouse. Jason didn't feel comfortable having an onscreen relationship with Gabrielle which is the same thing that happened with Ian and Jennie. They didn't show their relationship because Jennie was 18 and Ian was older than Luke.

It was when she became in her 20s, 90210 felt she was mature enough to handle sexual situations with Luke and so forth as she got older. Afterwards they really didn't care about the "Steve and Kelly" relationship for it to progress. As for Kelly staying with Brandon after the encounter with Dylan in S5...its so simple! 90210 was not going to have the main characters break up permanently before the season was even over. That would be the shortest breakup.
