  • i am a air force brat from 1955 , i wanna go back !!!

  • I too was stationed at Harmon 1959/60. Left when the fighter squadron closed down.

Married a lassie from Corner Brook and visit the Rock often. I always try to drive through the base to look at the old Alert Barn where I worked. Worked in the engine shop also. Town has gotten larger, and nicer! Corner Brook was always My favorite. The girl to guy ratio was over 7.5/1. Nice odds.

I live in Pa, USA and drive up each year in Sept/Oct. Fantastic place to visit. Fred Disk

  • I was staioned there from 1965 -1966.

I'm the guy who wrote the pay checks so the guys could feed the slot machines. I lived in that first building on the video. We called it the Harmon Hilton and my room was on the 6th floor. Thanks for the video, brings back a lot of memories.

  • @PATCALNJ I was there from Dec 1964 - Jun 1966 been back about 40 times

  • I lived here and in St. John's as a kid. Lived in the states since I was 5, but I bought my own piece of "The Rock" a few years ago in Trinity Bay. I don't get up there very often, but NFLD will always be "home" to me. When I do get home, I sing this song all the way up! Thanks for sharing!
