Showing Givenchy and de la Renta together underscores how bland and complacent they both are/were. Just an opinion but neither one ever did anything for me.

@LeonAmsterdamCouture My comment probably came across as rude but I was just giving my best critical analysis. I tend to like designers that are edgier in one way or another. Some that really thrill me are Geoffrey Beene, Halston, Madame Gres and Rei Kawakubo. Givenchy and de la Renta dress society ladies. Although these are the women that buy fashion, as a viewer, reader and magazine buyer, my tastes run different.
