I haven't seen/ heard nearly as many covers of this song as there ought to be. This is good. But I'd like to hear you give it another shot. I bet you could nail it without pausing. Keep up the good work!
Imagine if there was a Shinobi movie, this could be the first song played at the credits. Man I think of any gaming franchise, among SEGA's franchises at least deserves a movie, it's probably Shinobi. Or as one that should easily translate to the screen as well.
@Timsonourside That would be awesome. Could be the greatest videogame movie ever made. I don't know Hollywood could possibly get that one wrong...oh yeah, give it an American director. LOL

I was thinking about covering Solitary myself for my little Shinobi 3 project because I've seen some people on here demanding for a remix of it. But, I haven't been able to make any time over the past few months to actually sit down and transcribe/learn it.
just had to comment again. this has so much potential. the buildup at 0:44 til 0:56 is awesome. really heavy! just needs better timing on the fast notes.
sounds good but the pause were a bit of a down especially because they were at crucial parts of the song. do you not know how to sweep or did you just do it for convenience
Are you talking about the pauses at 0:10 and 0:20? I made it like that for the sake of style. I thought it would be a cool idea to have a focus of rhythm in those places. Also, the lead melody in those places didn't sound like it could have been any sweep picking to my ear, but more of a group or a series of 2 or 3 notes that are within an interval range of 2 whole steps.
Then again, I could be have been fooled by the delay effects from the original track of the game or something. But now I wish I would have came up with something more sporty for those places hahaha.
As for my skill in sweep picking tho, I'd say im pretty decent and able, but not quite an expertise. If you go to 0:48, you will hear some sweep action. It's a nice little tool for lead playing, but it's sometimes overrated in my opinion.
I always loved this track from the game :)! And the boss was just great.
