We're riding Fahrrad Manufaktur T400s bought in London. Served us pretty well for £600 (for the Deore model). Maybe consider the XT model as well as the new version has lots of extras included that the Deore model doesn't have.

What kind of bikes are you guys riding? I have this dilemma of what bike to purchase. I need a bike that can handle some dirt roads and badly maintained roads. Because i hate riding by a dirt road and wondering whats up it and not being able to explore it because of my bike.
