Chloe and her sucky toy

my bully is 1 and she has been doing this since we brought her home. she sucks on the feet or the mouth of her stuffed animals.

My bulldog is 11 and still does this.....but only the nose of the toy. Not the legs or tails....just the nose. And thankfully she stops if it sqeaks, freaks her out a bit. Seems something peculiar to bulldogs?? Condolences on losing your baby girl. I lost my other baby girl a year and a half ago and still miss her madly.

Aw! My bullie used to do this too. She had a pink baby blanket I got for her the day she came home. She carried it all over the house with her or would just lay on her bed and nurse on the corners. After about 3 years, I had to throw her "banky" away. We were both upset. She hasn't nursed on anything since.

we used to give our bulldog his stuffed toy but the vet said not to give it to him coz he has a small trachea/larynx(?),a birth defect, and the stuffed toy's fur could essentially asphyxiate him thus is hazardous for his health. but when he sucked on the thing he would fall asleep in seconds still sucking on it

My Dozer does this too. He has a plush monkey that he nurses on when its time for bed. He has had it since we first brought him home. Its fun to watch him but also just knowing that its soothing for him I don't think I could ever get rid of it. He is always "Loving his Monkey" LOL
