Amazing! I have at least one picture of the tiger in the pool in one of my NG special issues. Until now, I had no idea what went in to taking that photo.

When I was born, a relative started a sub to NG, and I have kept it up since then, through thick and thin. Although many of us can do much more, this is all it takes to support National Geographic.

Because they can be very dangerous. Around the turn of the century, one tiger in India killed over 400 people. Several other tigers killed around a hundred people each. In fact, one of the first people to push for the conservation of Tigers was the famous hunter who killed the man eating tigers in question. His idea was to establish a wildlife sanctuary where they could be protected without danger of them attacked humans.
