I know this is controversial but I'm going to say it anyway, I am happy that River Song is coming back. I mean she gave a sort of respect to what the Doctor is that is lost these days. The drama is the most important I realize that, it's just that it's nice to see episodes that go back to the whole last of the timelords thing.

I have a theory: The return of Gallifrey would take nothing less than the full reversal of the Last Great Time War. That means its a package deal, if you bring back Gallifrey you also bring back the Dalek Empire which is why the Doctor would never do it. The Master however, is another story. What do you other fans think of my theory?

I saw the two trailers on YouTube somewhere. Waters of Mars looks kind of like stuff we've seen before, but the 'knock four times' part made it look better. And End of Time looks AWESOME.

Series 5: From the set photos I've seen, everything is so different! (spoilers:) the TARDIS windows are different and it looks really shiny, the sonic screwdriver is different (though it's not the futuristic one the Doctor gave to River) but they're still filming on Bad Wolf Bay! Though as Amy Pond is with him, I presume it is not supposed to be BWB).

I think it's dumb when people say they don't like River Song. They don't KNOW River Song. You know enough about Martha to hate her. She's boring. But River Song was in one extended episode. I don't think she'll act the same way in a different scenario. For her, this wasn't her first time meeting the Doctor, so she didn't need to make a first impression. That why it seemed off. I think that was kind of the point.

I thought River Song's involvement was just to show that even the Doctor doesn't know what will happen to him in the future.  Am a bit peeved she's returning. Am not a huge fan of her. =[

I'm gutted that British conventions etc don't get as much David Tennant action. Sad face.

River Song's fine by me, but she seems a bit... old... in comparison to Matt Smith. And also, the major continuity ef up since she now only met the Tennant Doctor once instead of over two series (which looks like that was Moffat's plan).

As for casting... Am I the only one who can't wait to see Timothy Dalton? That man's voice! Wow! Not surprising they put him on the voice over of that End of Time trailer.

As for Allons-y Alonso... SPOILER isn't he coming back at xmas? /END SPOILER ;)

Im pretty jealous that you got to go, but thanks for the review! Im pretty stoked about the master, but frankly Im much happier that Wilf is being the Doc's companion for 2 whole episodes! Hes probably my favorite person on that show aside from Who. Im also glad that Donna's back, but I have no idea what theyre going to do with her. Probably not much.

And I didnt mind Riversong much, but she wasnt good enough for the Doctor :(
