can you tell me please why my brushes folder is empty, i added the brushes accordingly but they dont appear in the gimp brush folder, i dragged the .gbr file but when i booted up gimp i dont find it there please help
@SimplyRunningWyld I had the same problem. Go to 'Applications', right click on 'gimp' and click 'Show package contents'. Then go to 'Contents', 'Resources', 'Share', 'Gimp', '2.0' and then find the folder called 'brushes'. :) Hope this helps

Hmm, I don't have a GIMP folder either. I followed all the directions, twice. And I'm usually really good with macs. Help?

You sure you've gone into the correct folder?
YOURNAME > Library > Application Support > GIMP
