It doesn't matter how long you've stretched it or had the blowout for, if you use extra virgin olive oil OR lots of shea butter, and reverse it back in (by putting the plug in from the back) and mold it there slowly, itll heal. It'll take a while, but it works.
It sucks having that, much less for the rest of your life, but it worked for me and others, and i'm just recommending it! :D
@onoeznisa1 it won't heal completely that way but it will help soothe the wound. you will still have little tears under a couple layers of tissue after oil/butter treatments. the proper way to correct a blowout is to first off leave your jewelry out for a loooong time. this will help it somewhat shrink on its own, at least to the point to proceed any further with correcting the blowout. then go to a professional piercer and ask if he can scalpel the wound off from the rest of your tissue.

@wegaengine1 if you have a reputable piercer in your area you might want to look in to setting up a consultation with him/her and seeing if they can scalpel the wound off from the rest of the tissue. normally they have numbing solution so it doesn't hurt as much but it depends on the person you go to. this would be the route i would look into.

Moisturize it daily and it'll eventually correct it's self. Preferably remove the tunnel, it'll look quite vulgar but at that size I doubt it'll shrink by a great deal.

@Sindee908 It will be painful if it has wound. But if the wound heals, there will be an excess skin on your ear (like the one on the video) so incase that happenes, just leave your plugs on and noone will even recognize that it's a blow out until you remove it.

Again, putting the jewelry backwards did not work for me coz when i noticed my blow out, it's already healed. Meaning, it has no scar, and has become my "normal" skin. So i can't do anything about it, i think.

@Megazerox336 about a month or so to look kinda normal, to tell you the truth after a blowout they're never gonna look fully normal again.

As long as it looks nice with the jewelry in (which it does) then who cares man. You can always get it surgically fixed if you desire to later in life.

I got the same problem, but I got 1 1/4 inch gauges, so its kinda bigger. Did you end up finding a way to fix it?

Ouch. I'm careful to tuck the blown out bits back in or watch the angle I put tapers in so it 's not pulling or snagging on one part of the hole more than another. I used to have so many times I was angry my ear was tearing but realised all I had to do was try a different angle or put it in backwards
