i was at ally pally open air concert & saw the slits. a great sunny afternoon, ari had a tree hairstyle. pig bag guy had gaffa tape up his ass, & viv is cute with a rickenbacker. nice stab at a pop single btw.

This is lovely - like hearing one aspect of the Slits isolated and distilled. Which I suppose is what it is, really. Saw Viv play in Hoxton a few months back (on her birthday apparently) - one of the best gigs I've been to in the past couple of years. Good to see her back. (Saw Ari Upp's band a couple of years back & they were great too).
