"dont let rumors or anything get in the way" exactly!! all these random test rumors and FTE stories i hear are BS. over 750 rounds through mine and not a hiccup or stovepipe yet
@airic554 im wtya bro ive put 1000 through mine with nota i even keep the mag it came with loaded at all times 24/7 its my everyday carry and a home defense pisyol as well love this gun cant say anything negative about the 250 my wifes new xdm is a great pistol but jammed on the second mag put through it and failed to lock back when empty. maybe a mag issue i hope so cuz i love s.a got there range officer 1911 and i really couldnt tell witch one i love more.lol
just bought one today. ill say the trigger seems like it might take some getting used to after putting 50 rounds through it.but once you get used to the trigger break this is definitely a great gun.
just got the exact same gun and i just lov it,,real good gun for the price have no complaint and like u said is really sexy looking,,mine is a 40 cal i picked up for $399 brand new...
I LOVE mine and I think it is the best kept secret in the gun world! That DAO trigger makes it feel like you're packin a snubbie 38 with none of the anxiety of the short, crisp striker fired pistol triggers. In other words, even with all the safeties glocks have, I still get nervous about that short trigger pull.
I'm going to buy that exact model/caliber very soon for around $425. I will buy the caliber exchange kit that costs around $260 in 9mm, calx-250-9-bss(w/nightsights) shortly thereafter. This will give me 2 guns for under $700. The changeout takes about 1 minute. The .40s&w will be for carry and the 9mm will be for range days. I looked hard at alot of weapons and chose the SigP250. Thanks for the great video.
I just went from a S&W SW40VE to the Sig P250 Compact frame with full size slide.Have yet to shoot it.I'm very impressed with the weapon.Sig did a good job with this one.Love the way it feels in my hand. The ability to change it at will was a big selling point for me.I did step down in caliber from .40 to 9MM but a new slide is in the works for me.I'm staying away from .357 SIG because of cost and availability.Getting the .40 and .45 slides for sure.
Just put this exact same gun (except the slide is black) on layaway for $326. It will be the first gun that I've owned, but I've shot many guns from revolvers to USP's and 1911's. I love Sig and Hk, so I wasn't surprised to find that I picked a winner. Great video btw! Do you have more video of it at the range?
I Have a glock 19 and love it and im looking to get a new gun and im shoping around and seen the sigsauer p250 2sum deal which is only 710-850 if you get night sights on it and this review makes me feel a bit better in my new choice
Just bought the P250C 2nd Gen. about a month ago. I got the 40Cal and it also came with a sig357 barrel for 520$. I love the gun and it performs flawlessly. 300 rounds so far with no malfunctions. I have to admit the sig357 shoots extremely nice as does the 40 cal. Cant beath the price for what you get. This gun hangs with the best. A+
Love my SIG Sauer P250, love even more that more and more people are giving it the credit it's due. Starting out had a pretty bad rep, but as the new model came out and more people started shooting it for themselves instead of basing their thoughts on what other people were saying, realized it's a damn good pistol to own.
I switch between my fav two tone SIG Sauer P250 and my Bersa Thunder .45, both great without spending a mint.
I'm sick of everyone talking about and doing safety checks in these videos. Your video can not hurt me. Safety is important but its annoying. You be safe for you, I will be safe for me.
I have just purchased a P250 I think its great very good stability and funtion. The teardown and cleaning is so quick and easy. I had planed on getting a P226 ,love them guns, but found a really great deal on the P250 w/ 3 -15 rnd mags for round $300.found that DAO trigger was pretty easy to get used to. I'm very impressed and recomend to anyone.
yea boy I agree I bought the 2 sum the both preform great.Ishot the full size in 40 s&w first at 15 yards put 25 rounds in a3" group. It came with asub compact 40 that you put triger frame from the full size into.I put 25 rounds into the same group and all for less than $500.00 great guns.
I love my Sig p250. I like how you prefer the double action only. It seems like most people complain about double action only. I like double action because it feels safer. I can carry it it confidently with a round in the chamber. I don't think I could do that with a 1911 cocked and locked. I think the double action trigger pull gives me more accuracy, because I can pull the trigger back to the point of fire, then aim and squeeze it off. Hair-pin triggers are too hard to predict the firing point
Another really informative report - many thanks, and btw love your desk-top pistols pics with your logo which use on my laptop as desktop backgrounds (hope don't mind?) - nice, clear and tastefully done. Many thanks keep up the good work!
@beefyuk00 thanks...and I do not mind people using my pics. That is why I put them out there. People can go to my Photobucket page and use any they like.
@TheYankeeMarshal You might not do requests but if you have one of the P250C two tone with your Yankee Marshal background like many other pics be good as currently can't seem to locate one as such. The weapon really matches all my needs and enjoy the look of it!
I own two of these, one full size in .45 and a subcompact in 9 mm. I agree they are underrated and are fine guns. There are a couple of negatives in my opinion. First, they only come with one mag. and extra mags are VERY expensive ($50). Second, in the subcompact the gap at the bottom of the mag. tends to pinch your little finger. Than having been said, I would note that the guns are very accurate and the ability to modify the guns from various sizes in various calibers is very appealing.
How would u compare this to the SP2022, or is that even a fair comparison. I like the looks of the 2022 a little better but function wise I wonder how they compare. Also doesn't the P250 come in a DA/SA model? I thought it did, and u had the option of DAO or DA/SA, maybe I'm wrong.
@NeverEnuffAmmo I would rate them very similarly as far and reliability and performance are concerned. Where the P250 would pull ahead is in styling (in my opinion) and versatility.
I totally agree with you, the best way to describe this pistol is the comparison to a double action revolver. Great carry gun in the subcompact version.
You have to like it for what it is, If you enjoy a revolver than you will love this gun.

I'm no pro at this, but if I didn't know any better I would think that was metal and not polymer. Those nasty textures make a gun look cheap!

I just bought a 250 Compact. I wish SIG would make this SA/DA. SIG is offering an Ambi-Safety in 2012, so just go ahead and build the SA/DA trigger.

I'm not sure why you mentioned the malfunctions since they were caused by the crud handloads you used.
I bought my new Gen 2 P250 for only $359 (Full-size, 9mm). This is easily the best gun for the money on the market at this time.
