  • Has it occured to anyone that most of the people DID refuse to administer the shocks, but their footage ended up on the cutting room floor? That's how documentaries are OFTEN made. Remember the lesson we're seeing here i.e. don't give blind alliegence to authority. When you say...."I can't believe so many of the people would keep shocking like that!" You're giving the film maker blind allegiance. You're trusting him when you don't even know him.

  • @acbry1208 ''Almost everyone says they know they wouldn't push the button, but over half did when it came down to it...'' of course you wont do it if you know it is lethal. The ppl doing the test did not know that and trusted the person in the room who had made up the experiment. You trust yourself more because you can never lie to yourself. Also you missed the part about think before you do.

  • Oh God MORE Jewish propaganda please give me a break !!!! Maybe people (Jews) outside the US. should stop trying to go into European countries and they won't be harrassed. Really is it so bad that the Germans and other European countries want to be left to their own people. By forcing other nations to accept diversity we are creating racial tension and violating their constitutional right to the pursuit of happiness. If you say "there not American" neither are immigrants yet they have rights.

  • @GJJTorres WTF are you talking about?

  • @SecularUSA me

  • Implying the holocaust ever happened...

  • @MrChristianRC Are you kidding me? I have 4 words for you: The Stanford Prison Experiment.

  • Stop apply these thories on us. Just placeed monkey man in there doesn't mean that we are all mindless animal "The Experiment must go on!!!" shut the Fuck up! Ape, I'm doing what I think was right, you can't control me idiot.

  • this vid s kool

  • Everyone should watch the movie "The Experiment" with Adrian Brody. It centers around what happens when you give people power...they eventually abuse it.

  • @D33Lux Great movie! Clearly relates to the Milgram Experiment.

  • some people

  • It really is irritating when things are titled incorrectly. This is not the original and should be demarcated with something to note that it is a replication.

  • @transientthought Power of the mob. Notice 79 likes and 0 dislikes. You deciced to write a comment expressing that the video title irritated you, yet you didn't dislike the video. Why? I also found this title to be irritating and also didn't want to be the first to dislike it. Why? I wonder who will be the first one to dislike the video.. but it's not going to be me. Or will it? Muwhaha. Spooky. I'm trying to scare you booo. Boooooooooo.

  • @fakename913323 I didn't dislike it because I was in a hurry to find a version of the original. The comment I posted should be more valuable than a dislike. The video done by BBC also has far to many needless transition scenes that detracts from the cogent study design used.

  • @transientthought Apologies for that, didn't realise my mistake :) Here is a link to the whole official footage - ?v=ZB8AMUHq2HY&feature=player_ embedded just plug that in after the 'watch' word in the url. enjoy !

  • Theres one problem with this experiment. They only tested on middle aged people. it would have been interesting to see teenagers and the elderly take this test.

  • @toontowncatclub An enormous quantity of variation of this experiment have been done! Look them up!

  • i am so happy i know the experiment so if i ended up in a recreation that i could stop knowing no one was hurt.

  • This is why the globalists have a hold on the public, only the free thinkers question authority and seek the truth.

  • really scarry, our mind is easy to be controlled

  • @MrChristianRC One of then, definately one of the most disturbing.

  • The way he described its impact..I was kind of scared..I didn't know whether to continue watching or stop

  • Think for yourself. Question authority.

  • you can tell he feels sick or disgusted with himself when he looks back at it. I feel so sorry for him knowing people watch that in shock and he feels the same way hoping they understand. God knows what mind frame he was in. When your under authority you can feel it yourself.. you lose all self-esteem, self trust what you truly as the person giving you orders is suppose to know best so all that transfers to them. You kind of belittle yourself in a way, correct me if I am wrong.

  • @BelizeHunni I suspect anyway. If this experiment was done on me I know I would not have done the lethal thing not saying I am a saint or anything because I am faar from it but me and authority never got along DEF at school. That thing were your feelings get transferred happens to me but its almost like some massive block sign goes on in my head going "but hold on I do/ don't want to do that" and will do what I will were people may carry on with it i.e. the people in the video or "good" students

  • @BelizeHunni Very true, because they do not follow God's instructions, and do not serve God, our true constitutional original position. This is our current position. There is a way out of this vessel of meat, this prison of flesh, this life-death cycle we are stuck in. Religion is very private, but the only way out of this Illusion.

  • @MyWordizBond are you kidding? religion is the ultimate form of absolute obedience, which the servant blindly listen to religious dogma, gtfo

  • @theastraywind ahahahaahaaaa you fool

  • @MyWordizBond lol u believe in religion

  • @theastraywind You are so true, I was raised in a religious home. The biggest hypocrites, liars, abusers, criminal minded...etc people go to church because they need a washing of their conscience. I'm done with that bullshit!

  • I wonder if those that gave the shocks thought of themselves with higher morality than another? When they leave their seat before they end, someone else might show as with higher morality shaming theirs. When they keep testing themselves they prevent from a saddistic from having pleasure at it and that would be wrong as they have pain giving it themselves?

Either with us or against us" reminds me of the experiment.. we sure can be convince of anything. Is vanity leading decisions?

  • was this experiment for money? meaning under what circumstance did they volunteer themselves to participate in this experiment?

  • @timdodd89 Yes, they were paid

  • @fandanstan then i would have simply stopped when i came to the conclusion i was severely hurting the learners, meaning i could care less about the money at a certain point. however i do understand what this experiment is trying to convey. many German soldiers probably felt the same way but if they did not comply to the Nazi regime they would have been killed or tried for treason.

  • But it still does, or did, not explain why, only that 2 thirds of people would absolve themselves of responsibility.

  • Load of CRAP... This just proves that the establishment who conduct these mind fucking experiments are callous sons of bitches. Nothing more.

  • @batfly

    You're an idiot.

  • @7Epitaph

    Suck a yeast infection.

  • Now, maybe after seeing this, I will be able to be a true being and not a pathetic lamb like most humans are. I follow my own morals and values and dont let them be twisted.

  • Lol. The milligram experiment was a big "hoax". (i've read/seen this) the "victim" was an actor who's screams/complains they taped on a recorder. In this experiment the only victim was the questioner which ended up almost (I myself believe) being psychologically tortured (sorry if i spelled anything wrong.English is not my first language.)

  • @Myballs64 Right, that was the experiment, the person being "tortured" wasn't in pain, but they acted like they were in pain to see the reaction of the person questioning. They wanted to find out will they keep shocking the person despite the pain they appeared to be in, or will they stop? It wasn't a hoax, but perhaps the details of the experiment aren't clear, the person in pain was not the subject, the asker was, but the asker thought the person they were shocking was the subject.

  • @favaandchianti7 good work..you explained that waaaaay better than me! On ya mate.

  • @Myballs64 Actually the screams/complaints weren't recorded, the actor was actually on the other side yelling them, it was the sound of an electric shock that was played over a tape recorder.

  • This shows how you should never trust anybody but yourself and always think before you do.

  • @2lasiiJAkuppi i'm not too sure if this tells one of the former (trusting somebody). I think it tells one of the impact of 'authority' (instructions from a contextually relevant person, in this case - the scientist). I think 'expertise' may be a confound (having a scientist in a lab coat as opposed to a plain clothed scientist)

  • @crzystuff well don't trust a person just because he is wearing a uniform is kinda the same as don't trust anybody but yourself. Maybe don't trust anybody you just met and always be skeptical is a better lesson. Saying it shows the power of authority doesn't really teach a lesson, i was giving an example on how to avoid stuff like this, like a rule of thumb.

  • @2lasiiJAkuppi

I would rather say never compermise your personal standards, and if they pressure you to do otherwise grow some balls and tell them to fuck them selfs.

Unless they have a gun, then its up to you to decide if your values are worth dieing for...

  • @2lasiiJAkuppi but yourself? thats exactly the problem. I think the key thing to get is that "Yourself" is just as untrustworthy as anybody else, id argue to say even more. The fact that we consider our own self more trustworthy than others leaves us more in danger of ourselves. Almost everyone says they know they wouldnt push the button, but over half did when it came down to it...

  • So now we know who to avoid, he will kill a man if some stranger says he will take responsibility, gg.

  • i would have gone right to 450 and killed that fucker

  • @SatanIsSatanic why dont you do that now? there are plenty of people outside to kill. your just a troll.

  • @leanonme1 i dont go outside. nobody likes me :(

  • @SatanIsSatanic

Keep the horns loose the bull. its ok to be an evil fucker just not full of shit. just take small steps toward "appearing" likeable. youll figure it out slowly. trust me i started there.

  • @leanonme1 umm i dont have a pet bull, and congratulations on starting with a pet bull...

  • @SatanIsSatanic yep nothing improves life like a bull bitches live that shit...not the bull's shit thou.

  • @leanonme1 wtf are you high? that literally makes no sense

  • my science teavher told the class to look this up. GO MS.THOMPSON!!!!!!!

    ........this was kinda boring though

  • what programme was this?

  • @lettersazornumbers1 this is from Part 1 (Mind Control) of The Brain: A Secret History
