Great demonstration I want to see a bamboo bike with a motor but it should be either a veggie oil motor or an alcohol or at least E85. Do that and you have a hell of a market on your hands. Or better yet make one with a motor and a bamboo tow behind trailer that housed the solar panels except this bike is a recumbent with a wind screen to improve efficiency.

I assume by the title that you're demonstrating how strong the bamboo bike is. I can't dispute that but the passengers are on a rear rack, their weight totally supported by the back wheel (not the frame). That wheel appears to be spoked, AND reinforced with bamboo.

I sure wish I had the dollars for a Calfee bamboo road bike though!! Talk about exclusivity!!!!!
