Those people made a huge mistake and mis-managed their money which caused them to go into debt, what happened to them was their fault and no one elses, them dying is just depleting the gene pool of the idiots in the world, survival of the fittest at its finest.
Actually these people where told by appraisal that there home was worth more than twice the actual value, and offered a sub prime loan at that price with a variable interest rate. The loan is then bundled into a financial product called a "Mortgage backed security" adding it's over inflated value to the price of that product.
The financial product is sold off and the bank essentially gets its money +. Then the interest rate is increased to a point where the buyer cannot pay.
At this point, the people attempt to pay, but fail. The house is then sold out from under them at the inflated rate under yet another sub prime mortgage. Just another sap to suck dry and kick tot he curb.
In the end, when they figured out there was no one left to buy the homes with inflated value, they tried to cash in on the CDS they purchased, but the company that sold it too them was over leveraged and did not have the money to cover the bet.
If you boil this whole crisis down, it worked perfectly for the banks. The management level of the banks involved played a game of sale / eviction / sale....at inflated prices thereby inflating the interest payments. When it all fell down, they already had most of the money in the bank, and their company's got a nice government bailout.
They used other human beings as cattle and where rewarded immensely.
Well now u must pay the price for voting so they planned this bullshit falling apart of the banks as bush was leaving. Why? Because you cant make much changes when the country thinks its broke... if banks were really failing why the bonuses why did bush hand out billions with no paper trail? why are these (bankers) having parties n shit its because its all a LIE! wake up people and smell the bullshit... Actually these people where told by appraisal that there home was worth more than twice the actual value, and offered a sub prime loan at that price with a variable interest rate. The loan is then bundled into a financial product called a "Mortgage backed security" adding it's over inflated value to the price of that product.
The financial product is sold off and the bank essentially gets its money +. Then the interest rate is increased to a point where the buyer cannot pay.

At this point, the people attempt to pay, but fail. The house is then sold out from under them at the inflated rate under yet another sub prime mortgage. Just another sap to suck dry and kick tot he curb.
In the end, when they figured out there was no one left to buy the homes with inflated value, they tried to cash in on the CDS they purchased, but the company that sold it too them was over leveraged and did not have the money to cover the bet.

If you boil this whole crisis down, it worked perfectly for the banks. The management level of the banks involved played a game of sale / eviction / sale....at inflated prices thereby inflating the interest payments. When it all fell down, they already had most of the money in the bank, and their company's got a nice government bailout.
They used other human beings as cattle and where rewarded immensely.

I feel sorry for these people & their answer to their desperation. What is happening is also a wakeup call, this kinda stuff has been happening to many people all over the united states for years this situation is just happening to now hit white middle class america & NOW everyone is OMG we need to do something & poor woman. Just a few years back you would see a homless man & walk past him like he was garbage he must be a drunk or addicted to drugs why else would he be there right? Wrong.

I wholly agree with many of the comments.
Our government and politicians have become nothing more than a comodity. Sold to the highest bidder. When a very small percentage of people control the majority of the wealth in our world we are all surely doomed.
At this point, even if the people all got off their asses and rioted in the streets we'd just be too late.

Suicide is what I wanted to do after I became homeless as a result of domestic violence and subsequent loss of my home. Now that I am homeless, from time to time, I still think about killing myself.

What's insane is when the foreclosure goes through these houses get abandoned and get so degraded that they become worthless.
Why not keep the owners in the house , pay rent until they get back on their feet again.

Not only this video clip, but the responses posted here about it, show how truly horrible the situation here in the United States has become. We as a PEOPLE need to come together and help one another. Millions are losing their homes, jobs, and this poor woman felt so desperate in her situation that she killed herself. Apparently she had no one to turn to, as her body still lies in the morgue. Agencies are not much help, but a neighbor can, a friend can. We people have to care about one another.

You are so correct, but will our Congress allow that to ever happen? They are bought a paid for "By the Corporations and For the Corporations". It will take a great uniting of the PEOPLE of this country to utterly demand that they re-impose the regulations that were removed and allowed the situation in the United States to happen. We the People have a voice, but it seems we are mute in Congress. Will it take the complete collapse of the dollar for the people to wake up and demand representation?

I say something is really wrong here in America when no one will stop blood sucking banks from doing this to people. The city "authorities" are to blame for helping them do it! If they refused to evict people it might be a statement that we will not take it anymore. After all the economic situation is not the fault of the common people it was created by big corporations reorganizing us all out of the equation.
