I have just read the above msgs and, yes he is the best ever that came into the world of singing. I am now a Nanna and Great Nanna but I am so lucky that a few of my grandchildren agree with me about Elvis. Elvis is for 1 of a kind, I read thru comments before posting, I agree with everyone about His voice, shows etc, But I dont see how you find blame in Pricsilla doe his death, Elvis had serious drug issues and his entourage never did a thing about it, Keep the Money machine making money was all his people did....I did meet him , I drove a limo for him on his last tour( I wont say where)..He was a messed up guy and needed REHAB...But remember in the 70s, There werent too many places like today...

Elvis , along with Buddy Holly & Jerry Lee Lewis introduced ROCK & ROLL to america.He was so sexual that when he was on TV they only showed him from the waist up. But BOY could he sing. What a vioce!! But in person he conected with his audiance and made you feel that every song was sang just to you. He felt in a prison for many years, since the void of losing his mother so young. Then Priscilla divorced him, which hurt him greatly, and took away his one ray of sunshine, his child Lisa Marie. I feel this song was about Elvis expressing his emotions to the world. THIS MOUNTAIN HE NEVER CLIMBED.
