she was so sweet i remember on sundays as a kid going and eatting lunch with her at her bbq place in port neaches. she would sing we would eat.... it was great. She autographed my coloring pages and my napkins all i have been able to keep up with over the years is a napkin. She will be so missed. George Jones said it so well in his song years ago.... Who's gonna fill their shoes.......

It was a good nights entertainment to see Lena sing One day at a time and Billie Jo sing Blanket on the ground all in one show, eventhough theyve lost the power in their voices i still enjoyed it.

ust saw her tonight on her 2011 Ladies of Country Tour in the UK, at Tunbridge Wells. Her voice is still huge but there's next to nothing left of the lady herself. She doesn't look too well I'd say, so get to see her while you can.
