  • Probably the best body transformation on youtube. Nice job, gives me motivation to eat eat eat. It took me about 7-8 months to go from 145lb to 180lb. I'm about 6'0" so I wasn't too happy with the results as I still looked kind of skinny for my height. So now i'm bulking to 205 or 210. I'm hoping i'll get there by the summer of 2011 naturally, the only supplements I take are gold whey, n.o. explode. i'm still struggling with my diet. It's different for me to eat every 2 hours.

  • Thanks man, I liked No xplode a lot. you got some fast gains. Yea I felt the same way always needed to add a little more size cause I felt too thin but I might not have been lol. Some people have a little slight signs of bigorexia and not even realize it. Society induced bigorexia.

  • Sup man thanks nope I'm probably the most honest person you will ever meet. It's difficult for me to ever lie or stretch the truth. I will admit to 1 thing I recently got my testosterone tested and my doctor... Seems to be like a pusher and gave me androgel... I do not SUGGEST EVER TAKING THIS STUFF. It made me so irritated horrible mood so No NEVER TAKE ANYTHING. He didn't wanna test my free testosterone he was going off just the main test. I think it's cause I went off my multi vitamins.

  • I was getting a drained feeling I really didn't give it any thought that I skipped on my multi vitamins for like 2 weeks being busy with my kid nonstop. Then it hit me and I was like whoa I didn't even wanna workout. So keep that in mind if anyone talks about roids or any testosterone supplementation. It might totally change the way you are I didn't like the feeling being irritated and that was 2.5mg of testosterone gel. Never again I couldn't even think straight I was so pissed for days.

  • Supplements I took in my life were Creatine on and off for many years. But my wife doesn't allow me to take it cause that also alters my mood. I mean I'm happy with my build now I'm not pressuring myself to get bigger just relaxing I enjoy working out without that added mental stress if I take a day off I might lose gains etc... Some gains are just not attainable but hey you live and learn lol. I probably should have stopped at 235 and gave it a rest.

  • You know many 16 year olds with 16 to 17" arms? It was a big jump from 8" arms. Had I not trained nah I don't think I would have had anything over 13 to 14" arms at full growth. Considering the average guy has 13 to maybe 15" arms of a grown man.

  • Wow 4 hr a day workouts. I think it's possible for you to get bigger yea. I wouldn't do 4 hr workouts but maybe your body responds better to high volume keep with it man. Take lots of ICE baths heh take it easy.

  • Thanks man I was about 6'1 at age 15 In that pic They were in the 14"s flexed I was stating I was 15 1/2 age. On a 6'1 frame 14"s and 15"s really do seem much smaller.

  • Thanks, I really think those guys are top athletes but my views of todays sports in America or maybe the world worries me. The day they blood test people to show their HGH levels I would honestly without a doubt entertain the idea. Steroid testing isn't enough, I have no doubt more than 80% if not higher MLB,NFL, and my favorite sport MMA may be users. I think if anything I would go into boxing first see if my jaw is even capable then move on from there. Notice these days a lot of mma glass jaw

  • Very true. I couldn't believe Josh Barnett tested positive for steroids, but it could bring Fedor to the UFC. I think you could have a chance if you tried, boxing is a good place to start.   • i dont think the ufc has the best heavyweights. i could see arlovski and barnett tearing through the ufc hw division, maybe with the exception of lesnar because hes a freak. hell when randy comes back i see him tearing through as well. the main reason fedor wont come to the ufc is the exclusivity clause that will prohibit fedor from fighting in any other orgs. he wouldnt be able to do sambo or judo tourneys either, and he always says he wants to fight around the world

  • I knew Fedor wasn't coming to UFC he has part ownership in M1 Global and is looking to BANK much more off his name right now. He wants a co promotion with UFC. He's good but realistically he is not worth co promoting and giving 50% of gate. That's 20+ mill he's not worth it.   • UFC probably 100% i bet would allow him to do sambo. The big deal here is M1 Global wants to ride in on UFC's spotlight and have a co promotion. Not gonna ever happen.   • All the people I looked up to growing up are all guilty of drug use. Hulk hogan, Stallone, Roidenator, Lou Ferrigno. Risk vs reward just isn't there for me. Yea Boxing and Wrestling base would get you very far in MMA work off that then add in BJJ. Cannot wait to see what Pierres next move is or who hendo is fighting next.

  • Some of these natural bodybuilders have an inferiority complex if they see someone who dwarfs them. Size matters this much to some of them. Possibly some natural lifters have Bigorexia and don't seek help. So they go around making excuses why other people are more advanced than them physically. lol A lot of mental people in the world no offense if you got this just seek help and train to be in shape not size , if it comes great if not does it really matter?

Maybe you aren't taking in enough protein or your genetics are maxed out for the time being. Keep your chin up man I believe you can do better.   • Just a hobby , mainly worked out as pain management and to just feel overall better. As much as I would like to see the full potential of what I would look like on roids I really don't care to risk my health. I know people will argue that there's no proof that it can harm your body I'm not risking my 1 life for muscles it makes no sense.

It's a kind of sport like other sports you play, There are natural bodybuilding contest out there too and those natural bodybuilders do almost exactly what they do, so it's almost like what you do is a dead end road.Also, these natural bodybuilder earns money if they won a competition and that's why they have to pose sometimes.   • I wish I could say breast milk from a Russian / Asian 500lb nice young lady, after it sat in the sun for a week or 2 but I would be lying. I drank 3 cups of milk before and after my workouts for years I don't think it helped but my father was 6 foot only if he's lucky.

  • Supplementation for 10 years was Creatine monohydrate on and off. Vanadyl sulfate 7.5mg by sportpharm and myoplex. Other than that you are mistaken...   • hey, im 16 iv been working out for 7 months , havent used any supplement other that powder protine i weigh 190 at 5'9 im thinking of using creatine but i herd that u get bloated is that true? cus i dont want to be using a water retainer.

  • I was on and off of creatine since 1994-95 I lose track lol. I stopped it a year ago I really don't miss it at all but I do admit it was worth testing out to see quick gains. I can't say temp gains maybe more of a motivator showing the muscle blow up real fast. Let me know how it goes man.

  • Peak of the bicep let the tape drop then wrap it around the tricep to the top. No diagonal measuring it has to be straight or it doesn't count.

  • Food for novice lifter thought. You do not wake up over night and get 20" arms without building a solid Leg foundation. Harder you train your legs the rest of your body grows as a whole. Arnold had 28" thighs on performance drugs. I see women lifters with 28" thighs. Keep that in mind.

  • Tricep workout I change up from week to week. 2 sets pushdowns, 2 sets rope, 2 sets dumbell overhead extentions sometimes add in 2 sets of reverse seated dips to finish off the workout. I tried vanadyl sulfate but my wife says it changes my attitude so I can't take any supplements... I used to take Creatine, vanadyl and a protein shake only things I found that worked.

  • Hmm 20" arms? you weren't satisfied with one inch less? not that it's a bad thing, cause its not. my goal is 16" arms, im at 14 1/4" right now. I've been lifting weights for 2 1/2 years now, but only seriously for about 4 months, iv'e gained in those 4 months about half the mass that i gained in my initial 2 years. Any tips that you as a veteran in bodybuilding could give me? i'd appreciate any advice.

  • To be honest I was happy at 17" I said if I grow great if not I'm happy. My workouts I mixed a lot more cable preachers , reverse preachers always heavy hammer dumbell curls. I didn't expect to get bigger I was at 17" for a good year before I started moving up this was at age 17. I tried to keep up with the arms to age 15" arms age 15 so on and so on. I got to age 20 and that was it. The taller I got the thinner my arms seemed to look to myself.

  • So since your entire slide show focuses on upper-body, can we assume you have bird legs?

  • Since you are new to lifting I'll fill you in on a tip. The harder you train the legs the more the body grows as a whole. You aren't going to build 20" arms and have twiggy legs unless you had an unfortunate accident which most likely will shrink your upper body unless you use wheelchair or crutches. Don't assume young one it's your first mistake. Train your legs hard if you want your body to grow as a whole. =)

  • My motivation was to train for a sport at first. The motivation part is a constant struggle especially training from home. Donating hours to a good cause which donates $ helps some. Workout with a different goal the 2ndary would be your looks primary health. What motivation techniques you all use? I'm interested.

  • I would say Mesoendo until I actually care about dieting and starving myself to get to a mesomorph. Lots of years of training I used to lift very heavy low reps in almost all my workouts.

  • Thanks, nope I never got to that level. I really just use this as a hobby. It's also a little tough training from home the motivation to get out there is tougher than the workout.

  • I just looked back and saw that you said before you only ate 3 meals a day?! thats crazy, imagine if you'd been doing 6 meals a day and training for competition, would of had our next natural IFBB pro on our hands! lol

  • oh absolutley hes got insane dedication, i didn't mean it to sound like i wa attributing it to genetics. But i'm saying to have gotten that massive on 3 meals a day must mean his body responds very well, and that combined with his obvious dedication and discipline is really cool.

  • how many days per week do you train a muscle group, let's say arms, once or twice a week ?  there's a guy at work that works out his arms 5 days a week, is that good for his arms ?

  • Man I would say that is extreme over training.

    I do Day 1 chest, Day 2 back shoulders, Day 3 arms, Day 4 legs mix in cardio. Take 2 days off or 1 day off and cardio again. Maybe I might hit a muscle twice depending on the rotation. You really hit arms hard with pushing and pulling so I kinda slowed down on arms. I used to do insane amounts of sets 3 hrs in the gym which was counter productive.

  • I mix up my workouts so much I mean you can try hitting each muscle twice a week to see if your body reacts better to that. Everyone is different I just think 5 days a week is breaking the muscle down so much but hey if it works for him man great.

    while many in the world go hungry...you and all your muscle friends eat to bulk? Exercise is not enough but all want to look like Superman... a cartoon, a man- made image? Question the moral and ethics of your behavior!
