I refuse to watch the CMAs until Keith wins Entertainer of the Year, as he should have for years. Anyone who's seen him live knows the truth: he's a thousand times better than kenny or brad and a MILLION times better than taylor. In fact, he's one of the few artists that sounds even more awesome in concert than on album, as impossible as that seems. Keith, you're my fav. You deserve more credit! I was actually offended the way bdj1022 stated that Keith Urban didn't write the song. It was like an acusation. I worked in the music industry. It is the most hypocritical in the world. People that have spent a lifetime perfecting their craft are seen as sell outs and those with all the credability don' deserve it. "Stupid Boy" is an excellent song that touches the hearts of all of us, as we see ourselves as one or the other in it. You know there are a lot of stupid girls out there too.

I know it's probably been said already, but the true topic of this song is keith himself and his previous alcohol addiction. I believe he either wrote it in, or after, rehab. True it does touch more than just that, but the song is just him admitting how stupid he was to become an alcoholic.
