  • Am I right in saying the Turbomaster is the predecessor of the Turbopower ?

  • @jmurray01 The Turbomaster was the successor of the Turbopower. However they had a short production life due to the Turbopower being more popular.

  • @richardlee1985 The Turbomaster can't be the successor, as that advert was made in the 80's and the Turbopower was still around in the 90's! I know, I own one!

  • @jmurray01 The Turbopower series was launched in 1984, the Turbomaster came after in 1988...

  • @jmurray01 Anyway, you have a Turbopower 2, that is a totally different machine to the Turbopower. I thought you was referring to the 'original' Turbopower! The Turbopower 2/3 was launched around 1992 just as Turbomaster production was coming to an end. The Turbopower 1 series was still in production until 1997 alongside the Turbopower 2/3

  • @richardlee1985 The Turbopower 1 was still around until 1997!?

In that case I must own an original Turbopower then... As my one just says "Turbopower" on it, not Turbopower 2.

I assumed even though it didn't say 2 on it, it must have been as it was a later model...

  • me too! they were great

  • i miss my hoover turbomaster

  • Your Innovation, actually. The Turbomaster line was called Innovation here, when sold from 1988 to 1990.
