  • rockcrawlers are neat! never heard of them before.

    some species of psuedoscorps are actually venomous. the interesting thing is that the ones that are venomous have a poison tooth on the movable finger of their claws

    also, some of these little guys us phoresy to travel. that is, they will grab on to other flying bugs and hitch a ride!

  • @cacoseraph The latest guess is that they are tiny, intertidal rove beetles! Two rove beetles of a larger species were collected in the sand beyond the intertidal zone, that same day.
