Hey this mouse does not work after a while. I have one and have found so many people facing the same problem. IT just stops working in a few months or Weeks if u are unlucky. Looks great and cool concept but dont buy unless you want a really expensive paperweight!
I just got this mouse for xmas and love every bit of it. The only thing that's sorta turning me off is that the scroll only works on my web browser :S I can't use it anywhere else what so ever. Is this normal or is it slowly dying?
What? Inaccessible side button? Are you smoking drugs, just stretch your lazy ass thumb a bit and there you have it, u just pressed the side button! This is the best and perfect most accurate mouse ever design, and the best feature is not only that once folded the fucker looks like a midgets mouse but the most incredible feature is the 6 month battery life it gives you! Rechargeable batteries anyone?
@LALOMAN18 does this mouse feel comfortable even after hours of use? I'm interested in this mouse due to its light weight, but how is the comfort? does the arc design make it comfortable on your wrist?
@bludika It sure does. I use it almost every day, its very accurate, up to 6 months battery and once folded it hides inside your palm, thats how small it gets so it sure doesn't take up any space in your laptop's bag. Just to make it clear, when the mouse fold open, it actually become the size of a full size mouse your hand doesn't feel like it needs to hold it tight thinking its too small. I use it on Maya when I'm doing 3D characters for hours and never get tired.
The new version just came out "Arc Touch" , its very slick but without the side 'back' button but someone had mention on a review that he managed to configure the scroll wheel sensor to act as a 'back' button on webpages by double clicking on it. Either way, a mistake people do when getting any of the Arc mouses is that they don't download Microsoft's "IntelliPoint" Arc's software to customize it and use its feature. It works great on Mac's too with IntelliPoint for Mac.
Now if your really looking for ultimate comfort and customization then look no further, you need to look at the kick ass Cyborg's R.A.T. 3, R.A.T. 5, R.A.T. 7 or the Wireless version R.A.T. 9! These mouses are the best looking, fully custom adjusts to the size of your hand, light, durable, and very ergonomic mouses! Worth every penny...
@XipeAyotl Bueno, yo ya me deseche de este raton y a comprado el mejor raton... bueno "Rata" que se e creado... tiene todo y ajustable a tu mano.. hablo de el super poderoso... "Cyborg/Saitek R.A.T. 5 - 7 - 9. Es el mejor raton magnifico. El R.A.T. 5 cuesta solo $50 en Amazon y es todo perfecto para laptops... tambien desktops si uno desea...
and hacing to stretch your thumb means that this mouse is a terribly designed and horribly uncomfortable mouse, considering its shaped like an arc with no special egronomic features
low dpi isnt good for people used to high sensitivity or with big screens
@ccaian1 Sorry retard, i had this mouse for year and that thumb button became use to and had no problems in using it a lot. Obviously your fat lazy fat fingers would demand the side button to be right under your fat thumb do to maybe getting over sweaty by reaching a few centimeters in order to press it. I bet you wan't people to feed you in the mouth too huh? Go to sleep and don't bother me again!
@LALOMAN18 seriously have u used the mice ? what the guy says it is 100% right ....u cant reach that back button with a normal grip ...unless u have the thumbs of an ogre...
Check the other hands on video for that matter where the guy actually is demonstrating this issue
Got 2, a black and white one for $19 each at Fry's! The new version came out and it would've been perfect if they had not forgotten to still ad the side (back) button! Stupid designer and Microsoft, u just lost $70 from me!
but you know its only touching the surface in 2 places, that doesn't restrict it from movement does it? like make it 'jolty' and stiff against the surface? Thanks! (:
Hi Rav,yeh when i saw this i was lost for word's tbh on what to say,but after thinking about it,I must say it look's rather good, due to me seing this review i would have considered this to be just another MS Mouse, but no it's the "Arc",and half way through i thought doe's this mouse fold up ? and bam there you go showing of the feature's,excellent m8,and for the price, tbh i thought it would be a lot more, plesantly suprised at how cheap it is,Well done on the video,Enjoyed watching,Cheer's buddy

@LALOMAN18 Es cierto el botón lateral es INACCESIBLE no se puede presionar sin tener que modificar la posición de la mano sobre el ratón.
