I am sorry because my english is not so good but I am an honduran person who live in tegucigalpa and only I am only a worker of a company earning an modest salary.
It si not a cup , is a new way to see our democracy Manuel Zelaya had made many crimes in corruption, sell of drugs and weapons. Manuel Zelaya rosales used money from International organizations to hold his acts.
We want to say this to the world but they don't want to ear us , every body want to say that it was a cup. Please see our people below defending our democracy and the new goverm. I see that in iternational news in internet is too dificult to get this kind of pics they only put what they want to put and only say that was a criminal military cup when the true is another.
I am sad seeing how all countries had condems our acts when we gave help to International community for his crimes no one help us.
In our constitution we have 8 articles named stone articles and in one of them say that one president cannot be reelecter . Any violating to this 8 is an act where a president must be retired of his charge and reemplaced by his vicepreseident and If vicepresident cannot asume them the president of ou congress asume the charge. And It was what really happened.
I you believe that we had a cup the why we have democratic elections in november 29th of this year and in january 27th we will have a new elected presidents??. Why the candidates who participate in the elections were elected in internal elections for their parties in internal election since last year??

I ask you why venezuela does not have condems by OAS and UN and honduras having elections in november is condemned as the most criminal country in the world ?.
The answer is because UN general secretary is the member of sandinist Nicargua and OAS most of member are part of ALBA a movement led by Hugo Chavez. You didn't mention the bill that the Democrats are putting together that would undo term limits for the presidency. Say it with me guys, "Obama - one term president" Of course we won't have much of an economy left after his first 4 years in office, maybe not even the 1st year from the looks of it. Let's get rid of his bosses in the Federal Reserve, Audit them then get Rid of them. End the Fed.

I as a Honduran citizen support the military actions taken to remove Zelaya from the office. I think our nation has shown how much we want our freedom. However, we are now facing the international rejection and threats of war from Chavez. We hope the United States will show some support since this is the nation tha preaches democracy. At least enough support to not condemn our actions in a struggle to keep our constitution from being manipulated by a president attempting to become dictator.
A military coup involves a military leader seizing power by force and, in general, suspending free and fair elections.
What happened in Honduras is that the president committed a crime by organising a fake referendum to be taken by his supporters with ballots from Hugo Chavez. The Supreme Court ousted him, not the military. And elections will happen in November on schedule.
Zelaya, Chavez, and Castro all subvert the checks and balances between executive, legislative, and judicial branches.
I don't know why 30 countries including the US sponsored the UN resolution condemning the actions taken by Honduras and why 192 countries voted for the resolution.
We are thinking THE EXACT same thing about Obama's response!!!! A bill to end the 22nd amendment was introduced on January 6, 2009 by DEMOCRAT Jose Serrano of New York. So they've already tried once in Obama's 1st term. If Obama gets enough power, he may not do this legally, but if he did, it would be exactly the same as chavez and zelaya.
I doubt 3/4 of the state would ratify a repeal of the 22nd. You need a massive majority to repeal an amendment. It can in effect only be repealed by the passage of another amendment.
One last thing....As a retired military man I and all military know that they are pledged to support and defend the Constitution of the US, not the President. The President is supposed to be the guardian of the Constitution ( thus his oath says protect and defend not support and defend ) but the military is bound by oath to defend it. I can tell you that most in the military take that oath very seriously.
