I just bought a 2011 Grizzly 550 with a 2in lift and 30" black mambas that just came out in the fall of 2010 and its a pretty godd fourwheeler i love it
nice machines man, i got the same kind of set, used to have swamp lites as well they work great, but once u switch to the silverbacks there is just no going back. nice vids.
I just ordered mine Yesterday. I hope they get here today so i can use them this weekend. Thanks for the video. I have 4 green ones but only one of them are getting the Silverbacks. Have you have any problems or have any advice of what not to do with them??
Ya hah... well 30" silverbacks with no clutch kit.. on Griz 700s?.lol Meh... Lame combo.. bag out a Grizzly 700. lose all your Torque.. and zilverbacks arnt that cool they are basically ugly over kill. use them just for mud competitions i say. get some 28"zillas or 30" mudzills on a Can-am 800 that would make a little more sense.
i was thinking of getting 28' gators for the grizzly im buying...but now i no what i want lol...and i wonder if its still worth getting a 2"lift kit if u have these silverbacks...
man that is two bad ass grizzles!, great job on them snorkles to i havent had the best of luck with mine.... and have you broke any cv joints or axles yet? lol
so man how are those silverbacks comeing along are thy any better then the swamplites do the silverback get out of of every thing or do thy just dig you in deeper
yes they are better than the lites, there is a drastic difference. i go around people in the mud with swamplites on their machines. as far as digging deeper- depends on the situation, sometimes the digging will get you out, but sometime you have to back off the throttle to a slow turn and it will climb out, people that dont know how to ride dont know when to back off and let the tires do the work-we love em!
o ok thanks that makes a lot of sence couse when i go muddin i see pple with them and some poeple its like a walk in a park and other people just dig them self in becouse they just hit the thrutal and they just dig them self right in that it takes them a while to get out. did you need a lift for them and where did you get them and how much just the tire couse i all ready have some rims there the same size as your rims "14"s
Please post a video of you breaking in those new wheels/tires.I have an 04 660 grizzly with Kenda Executioners on ITP SS106 Wheels. Please post more great videos.Yamaha are the best.Love those twin Grizzlys.
looks like a nice setup. be prepared to be replaceing c/v joints, especialy on the front if you do alot of mudding..where did you get the idea for the snorkels/brackets..ive got the idea with having a matching pair. just waiting for tax money for the wifes tires.. we have 2 2008 700's also green.. but i prefere the outlaws myself..let me know how you like the gorillas...
where did you order them from? one day shipping thats impressive.that is one nice setup. i have been shopping tires for weeks now comparing outlaws and backs leaning towards backs.

Have you had any trouble with those tires rubbing the fenders, especially when running hard?
cnswilliams1 2 years ago
Every now and the i might get a little scrub, but nothing big that tears anything apart.
GrizzliesGoneWild 2 years ago
Man if you could ever get the 7" gorilla lift on those bikes paired with them tires you'd have some beasts!

No not yet, i think not putting a lift on helped that problem.
GrizzliesGoneWild 2 years ago
What kind of snorkle kit is that, I like how it comes through behind the rack. Do your handlebars hit them?
wezzg 2 years ago
We made them ourselves. We had to bend the piece in front of the snorkels for them to fit. Also the handle bars do not hit them.
