  • i adored christopher in the book, psh,i loved the book period end of story.i havent read the last three yet, only the first two but the were both phenominal. :)

  • I ADORED this. And this is so weird, I made a cast of my own a while back and I used Alex Pettyfer as Chris too.

But I loved that, how you took Lovely Bones and Black Swan and all. Ah. Good job.

  • awesome i like the chemistry between sister and brother

  • that was amazing!

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • waw la pelicula seria GENIAL si estubieran con esos actores!!! la amaria!! lastima q salio esa bn chafaa ! :3

  • I would <3 to see this with the actors you put in this!!!!

  • As much as I would LOVE to see a remake of this, I'm afraid that they would have to do some serious revamping to bring it into our era.

  • Wow excellent! I'd love to see a remake of this movie. Also, what's the song called?

  • Good job! I personally think this movie could work out as a great remake! Something like Jack Ketchum's "The Girl Next Door" after "An American Crime" thought this movie was based on real story. Flowers in the attic was one of my childhood's favorite movies and if someone takes over the idea of remaking it, I'm here, wishing so much to be cast as first for one of the roles!!

  • Editing, cutting, rewriting is constantly done in book to movie type films. It's best to make it into a television series because television studios have a more lenient filming length standard that allows for series to be put on television.

  • @rsvy913688 As much as I agree with you and would love to see this as a t.v. series(even a mini series) with all the ppl who complain.....and with there being incest and child abuse....there'd be no way. I think V.C. Andrews family should work with a director and producer to try and stay true to the book...even though there's no such movie out there like that it would be great to see.

  • Mommie Dearest was ruined. Christina herself didn't want it to turn out to be a cult classic with overdramaticised acting. It did. It ruined Faye Dunaway's film career. I had plans to put the book into a script (going by the story line completely) and send it to Christina to see what her ideas were. The problem with scripts is the movie has to match up to at least 2 hours. Whenever a film is made into 3 hours long (which is the maximum length a movie can be made) they have to condense it.

  • This isn't close enough to the book! What happened in 1986 when the film was being made is they had to cut out about 9 percent of the film's original story and made it up to fit the time which it took to be on film. Sad how they hastened up the story to fit two hours.

  • this trailer was better then the real movie!

(this is just my opinion; if you loved the movie...well ummm, that's your opinion)

  • you did such a BEAUTIFUL job with this make shift trailor of a remake noone!!..I really do hope that they decide to make a whole miniseries based on the whole series of books for flowers in the attic about the Dollanganger family!...I want someone to do this!...V.C. andrews was such an AWESOME writer..she is and always was my inspiration to keep on writing stories!..I only wish I would be able to write half as good as her.

  • such a great job putting it together! i want someone to make a remake!

  • DIANNA :D:D:D

  • wow great job! looks like it could be the remake : )

  • 1:18 is the lovely bones, i love that movie

  • Dacota Fanning at 0:54 xx

  • Carry :3

  • I have so many ideas for the remake of this movie...maybe some ballet dream scenes for Kathy and a really graphic incest scene...idk, I think they could make the film better if they remake it and make it more of a psychological thriller drama

  • @Poet2916 you hit it right on the nail! Exactly what I was thinking. I have ideas for turning the book into a remake but I doubt they'd be taken seriously. Seems Hollywood isn't interested in book to film remakes anymore. I hope they'd be but who knows!

  • @rsvy913688 I'd love to see what you'd do with it...it honestly bugs me when a film isn't true to it's book...There's a lot of remakes I'd like to see done: A true to Gaston Leroux version of Phantom of the Opera, a film version of Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Mariller, a better remake of The Haunting Of The Hill House by Shirley Jackson..so many

  • I think nicole kidman would be great as the mother and hayden panettiere as cathy!!!

  • I was really happy to see Black Swan clips in here. I remember as soon as Black Swan bagan I instantly thought of Cathy

Very creative and very well done

  • Soooooo good!

  • sucks sooo baddd

  • I also wish the same thing MileDefontages and I do wish one day it will be remade...

  • I LOVE THIS!!!

  • Flowers in the Attic could be such a wonderful film, i kind of wish i could be a director myself just so i could turn this into a movie that followed the book as much as possible, anyway great trailer the best i have seen so far

  • Btw, for those who don't know, the grandmother is Fionnula Flanagan, who played Mrs. Mills in The Others.

  • Also, cheers for the remake, let's hope it happens. Honestly, your fan trailer could fool anyone into believing that this is the real thing ;) Again, great job.

  • EXTREMELY well-edited and conceived! Well done! It's even better than mine -- it looks and sounds like a truly convincing trailer. Bravo!

  • This looks really cool :) I like how all of the clips you put together... FIT together:)
