For those too dim to work out that this is a spoof - People Like Us was as series of spoof documentaries on the BBC about people in various jobs. Roy Mallard (mis-spelt as Nolland in this episode) was played by Chris Langham as an incompetent interviewer.

Picking holes in the type of planes they're showing is a bit pointless and how anyone would think this is real is beyond me.

I agree with one of your points..the ppl working on the series should have done their homework and should have known that they are in a cockpit of a 747 but the aircraft they were showing on the outside is a 767 however 767 can fly far distances so im not sure why you said "why send a 767 to Paris?"

because for the amount it can send and the distance its capable of, it would be inefficient unless it was making a stopover and then going on a long haul. I don't think BA/AF have any codesharing or anything so it wouldn't make sense... I think BA sends daily flights there anyway with the 320 series aircrafts; which are better suited for the distance ;) It has a much shorter turn around time and will be more profitable.

Hehe you're right about the flightdeck, it's a 747 set-up... but a B-767 short-haul is very normal in Europe.

They used a 767 and A330 from Amsterdam to London a few years ago! It was actually a regular service due to the huge amounts of people...The flight takes less then 60 minutes!

Thats the whole point, its a complete piss take of firstly general documentry story telling and secondly in this case, pilots. The situations created are akward and if you actually listen to what they are saying, most of it makes no sense, hilarious!
