Just my opinion... i dont have very much faith in any of the guys down there really. But go ahead and ask Calvin about Clint... im sure he will give ya a wishy washy answer on him. There are much better guys to waste ya money on than him..... but then again im just talking shit... not giving any friendly advice. Remember.... tuning for power is only two things... timing and fuel. If your tuner cant get just two things right than he is a total reject..... just friendly advise
@nsboost I app the advice... but I will stick with him for now! he tuned a lot of my friends cars, and none of them had any problem. the guy knows what he is doing! im not saying he is the best out there, but he is enough for me!
@nsboost Car is already tuned by Clint... put down 490whp/465wtq... car is running great with no problems for almost 4 months now!! clint is a great guy and he knows his sh*t.... Ive been doing wok with him for more than a year now, no problems what so ever! He is not perfect (nobody is) but he know what he is doing and I trust my car with him! and yea Calvins car runs really good... this was y first dig race ever in the Z and my tires are already done, spun really bad!!!
Calvins car runs very very well for what it is...... And I read down there your going to CLINT to have your $60k car tuned?? I would call that a mistake. Clint is NOT a good tuner. . . . not good at much of anything as far as i've seen. Shade tree mechanic.... Just warning you. Would hate to see that z06 get hurt by and idoit behind the computer
@tubacobra yea if I was at sea-level... im sure i will do better. at higher elevations cars tend to lose power! I lost about 80whp and 80wtq due to elevation when the car was bone stock :(
@walhanQTR Yes thats tru on higher elevation the compretion will be lower then sea lever, 80hp make big difrence with good smart launch am sure u could have at least .5 sec advantge .
Second I SWEAR TO GOD If the ZO6 Or The Sledge Hummer ZR1 Has a Ferrari Like Gear Box "Sequential" And A 4 Wheel Drive Motivation Then there would not be a creature can stand in her way.
@venomws6@venomws6 no it was actually tuned for headers and CAI, but in a different state with different elevation.. and when we checked, it turned out the car is running lean and we can get some more power out of it with a nice tune! im hoping with the tune to hit 500whp :) as for who is going to tune the car.. I will go with Clint from AIR... he is a local here and a great tuner!!

@venomws6 no, we had an issue with the ECU being locked from the previous tuner! I will be getting a new ECU and get it tuned :D

Believe me the car will fly after the tune the car is now close to 10 A/F Ratio
