  • Beautiful video, beautiful flower. Beautiful documentation. Thanks.

  • Morning glory seeds contain a deadly poison like cyanide. the cause the capillaries to close if they are ingested.

  • how long from seed to flower does it take to grow??

  • It took mine 3 months, mid-May to mid-August this year. But I directly sowed the seeds in soil mixed with wood chip mulch and I am a novice gardener. I started with 16 seeds, and got 5 good plants out of them. Next year I'll start seedlings in potting soil, then transplant.

  • I love the sky blue color, and how they move - like they're alive!

  • Marvellous:)

  • wow!!!

  • Wow...that's some blue color on those morning glories!

    What kind are they?

  • Heavenly Blue. You can buy the seed in most stores - this is my favorite type of Morning Glory because of that color.(and my GrandMother used to grow them)

Nick the seeds with a knife and soak them in tap water overnight. This softens the shell so they will sprout sooner once they are planted. They like sun.

  • Thanks.

I've already planted vine moonflowers in March. These look gorgeous along with them.being when one flower closes, the other opens. However, I bought a lighter blue than this.

But , next year is coming.

    Just love that color!
