the organisation of this was reportedly pathetic. he was supposed to sing as i recall "she's out of my life" and even rehearsed from it but then the organisers changed it in the last minute and didnt want him to do that because of "constraints" (there was a stupid reason, i just forgot it) and then they put a choir and told mj that all he had to do was acknowledge them and maybe sing along a few lines. it was all pretty much a shambles but i can tell you mj was not at fault

Just in case you need to - you can check other videos about this event to make sure it was a Huge lie! It also probably was one more way of the press to hit him again. Why can't people hear the difference in sounds? The guy who was singing the backing vocals for the song was much louder than Michael's microphone would allow. If you listen to the original demo where Michael is recording this song, then you'll hear that he does actually go as high as he did at the end of this clip. If he couldn't sing anymore I don't think he's still be working towards a new album, do you?

As this video proves, he may only have sung a few lines, but they were well sung; hell that second chorus is great, and the falsetto at the end shows no signs whatsoever of "struggling", in my humble opinion...
