@ItsAliceRawr He didn't die because the seal's revolution completed, Elliot chose to sever his contract with Humpty Dumpty which killed both him and his chain. That's why he was bleeding so much, his body was basically falling apart just like Humpty Dumpty's was.

The English version is already out on TheBlackAbyss and MangaReader if you want to read the exact explanation for how severing the contract works, but basically since the contract is severed he's technically no longer a contracter and doesn't get dragged into the abyss but just seemingly breaks down into nothing. Vincent even points out that if he somehow survived severing the contract he'd still die regardless due to the fatal injuries Elliot already had.
