When I was heavily into skateboarding in the early and late 1990s we ALWAYS got along with the bikers. We both had a mutual respect for one another. We cheered for one another when we landed hard tricks and we partied together at night. As a matter of fact, it was skaters and bmxers against roller bladers back then haha.
