@ChocMonster123 Concorde was old, noisy and was getting very expensive to maintain and operate with the rising fuel costs. Airbus were also revoking the type certificate so keeping the aircraft airworthy would of been a more difficult task. As for a 2nd gen, fuel costs and the instability of the airliner market is most likely the answer. Supersonic biz jets may appear the future though

Gives you goosebumps, such a wonderful ad. Really captures the magic of flying. While flying is no longer as glamorous as it once was, partly because it is so common, I really like to lean forward at every takeoff to get the feeling of escaping gravity. It is such an amazing thing, to fly like birds to the heavens, and we take it as normal and boring.
