i dont think the esc is set up at its softest start from the factory. its cool watching the head and blades and swash at the same time. you can see it isnt holding any kinda of steady headspeed. would be curious to see a ice 100 in gov mode with this same view.
man only a year. ive been flying longer and your further along than i am already, great vid, keep em coming
Nice! I loved seeing the swashplate move!!! That's a nice rotor head too! I only have few collective pitch helis, but they are quite different. I assume there's another serve in the front, that was hiding in front of the mast in this video? Anyhow, very cool!
@Kinespojken: yes, with the USB cable. It has a mini-USB B plug, and mounts the microSD like any USB disk while recharging. You can pull out the microSD and read it separately if you prefer, but you need to charge the camera with the USB port.
But when I read the description about it on Ebay it stands:
Including:
1 x USB cable(Not included charger)
The USB cable IS the charger, so how could it come without it? Do you think that they just have written it wrong? That I will get the cable and therefore I will also get the charger?
@Kinespojken Im guessing the "not included charger" means a wall-mount charger, or an AC adaptor for electricity. Some do come with an AC plug, while others just include the USB cable. Depends on which model you go with, and which seller you buy from. The USB works just as well, but simply means you need to charge it through your computer or have an adapter you can plug the USB into and then stick it in the wall.
Very cool angle. It is interesting to see what the head is doing in flight. It looks like the head is barely turning because of the high shutter speed. I think it is pretty cool. Would be a good angle for a FPV system. Good job.

how long did it take you to get to where your are now? I am in the simulator stages, and it seems like for ever to learn.

I think I have the same type of camera. The annoying date keeps showing up on the bottom of the screen and can't be turned off. :(

How do you charge the camera? With the USB-cable or a separate charger?

How did you modify the canopy mount? That looks nice!
The original from Align is a bit crummy and I'm having trouble with the canopy rubbing the gear.

Beautiful piece of engineering. Is it powered by electric motor?
Id love to design stabilising electronics for this kind of application after my degree :)
