some Paleantologist's think that it was an giant vulkano that triggerd the ''Permian extinction'' (wich wiped out the ''Mammal-like reptiles and made place for the dinosaurs )instead of a meteor!
i know what really killed the dinosaurs their was no Astaroid or globle warming nothing like that what happend was one day a huge purple Trex was born and he started singing i love you and so on and the other dinosaurs were like WTF lets get out of here so they all jumped off a cliff to escape the singing thuse dying out but the purple T rex survived up to today and is know known as Barney lol

The largest meteor strike we can find is the meteor that created the Gulf of Mexico, and its dust was unable to reach the modern Canadian border. It was not big enough to destroy all dinosaurs on Earth. A smaller meteor certainly couldn't have done it, and a meteor much larger would have done catastrophic damage to the Earth. It is likely that something else killed the dinosaurs, but like the proven false AGW, it takes a while for humans to let go of incorrect theories.
@jayhoffer Listen what they say, they found something called iridium and you can find that ONLY IN SPACE so it has to do something with Space. Do not think those people (NASA for example) are dumb because they are smart as hell!
@RSKorosiya What does iridium have to do with anything? First, no, you don't find it in space. Space is the vacuum and/or dark matter. Iridium simply isn't found naturally occurring on Earth, if that is what you mean, and I don't know whether that is true or not.
@jayhoffer You can find iridium in a meteor and NOT on earth, and I rather believe the NASA and all those people then just a random guy on the Internet. I don't care what you think and they even found a crater that's over 100KM's big so what could've caused that? Aliens? Nope a meteor!
@RSKorosiya What the hell are you talking about? Are you seriously mentally deranged? I've not made any screwed up conspiracy theories, merely pointed out that other things may have killed the dinosaurs than a meteor, which we so far have no evidence for. Yeah, meteors have struck the Earth, but not a big enough one to kill off the largest creatures to ever roam the Earth.
@jayhoffer What not big enough six miles across is not big enough that shit hits and everything is fucked up for 1000 years you moron,..It kills almost every living thing 95% of living things would die .......God you're stupid.......
@MrSaberq Look who's stupid. The dust from the meteor that created the Gulf of Mexico didn't even reach the Canadian border. Furthermore, toxic algae are now being looked at as the source of the mass extinctions throughout history, as fossilized toxic algae spikes massively with all the mass extinctions. Learn English and take your head out of your ass.
@MrSaberq If English is your native language you should be better at using correct spelling and grammar. As is you should like someone who's just begun learning English, or perhaps a five year old.
@jayhoffer Well, it's easy to see you're as big a fucktard here as you've been everywhere else you've posted your idiot, pseudo-scientific theories and ignorant value judgments. Your mother must've been a real skank to have raised such a stupid, inbred cunt as yourself.
Funny, they animate the meteor in refering to the Sudbury impact however Sudbury is actually some 300 miles north of where they show it strike.......and the Great Lakes did not exist as shown 2 billion years ago
Those are long over. Just been busy with other studies. Trying to find time to cut and upload more documentaries but running ou o material (got most extreme season one and some random things to upload - one is not science related so haven't decided on that yet.)

I looked up something too and found an article on NASA's pages that refers to Luann Becker's research.
Googling shows several pages and articles referring to her work but can't find full articles by her. Have to look it up again at better time.
The one you mentioned also came up..
You should try the University in which she currently works. (University of California, Santa Barbara.)
I'll give you the link via PM
