The largest meteor strike we can find is the meteor that created the Gulf of Mexico, and its dust was unable to reach the modern Canadian border. It was not big enough to destroy all dinosaurs on Earth. A smaller meteor certainly couldn't have done it, and a meteor much larger would have done catastrophic damage to the Earth. It is likely that something else killed the dinosaurs, but like the proven false AGW, it takes a while for humans to let go of incorrect theories.

Funny, they animate the meteor in refering to the Sudbury impact however Sudbury is actually some 300 miles north of where they show it strike.......and the Great Lakes did not exist as shown 2 billion years ago

I looked up something too and found an article on NASA's pages that refers to Luann Becker's research.

Googling shows several pages and articles referring to her work but can't find full articles by her. Have to look it up again at better time.
