  • If you intend to make it remote controlled ditch the manual gearbox and use an electric motor with a higher rpm range, maybe a number of medium motors in parallel. I've been playing with making a drive shaft with an expanding column, you could do this for your axles instead of having a top-down gear based transmission.

  • @Reshy0Penguin good tips! I've actually changed this robot around a TON already - this video is quite dated ad I've been meaning to upload my newest creations. I'm curious about your expanding column driveshafts though - do you have any pics or video of them?
