Yes, sure, every candidate has their spammers who substitute rational argument with one-line slogans, but in this respect, from my experience, Ron Paul's got at least double the share of spammers compared to any other candidate. And that's why the negative backlash. Oh come on! They do not mention half the candidates in most the videos, the Ron Paul fanaticism is getting very, very tiresome. I mean the guy has great knowledge and respect for the constitution, which I'd like to see in every candidate, but I bet that the constant Ron Paul chants and whining of his supporters on-line is really turning people away from him. No, I wouldn't say that people are tired of the "support" Ron Paul is getting, but rather the endless repetition of slogans, and using Ron Paul's name as a sort of mantra in every context, on almost any comment section regardless of whether it is topical or not. People get tired of Ron Paul because so many of his supporters seem to be "supporting" him by what is essentially trolling or spamming campaigns, without realizing that this is entirely counterproductive.

Well, that just underlies what I'm saying - once people start to feel harassed and annoyed by the unintelligent repetition and spam, then even those supporters of Ron Paul who would prefer rational discourse will get their share of the backlash. It's bad enough in the charged atmosphere of an election with strong opinions around, but the Ron Paul spam just adds to the aggravation - it's fine for maybe a week, but month after month of hearing it, no wonder people are annoyed.

Yes, sure, every candidate has their spammers who substitute rational argument with one-line slogans, but in this respect, from my experience, Ron Paul's got at least double the share of spammers compared to any other candidate. And that's why the negative backlash. They do achieve getting people to know the name, but in the process attach negative emotions to it, and make people less likely to bother with what the candidate himself says.

People have seen been seeing it the entire time. The truth is that ppl just ignore it b/c they no that he's a loon. Too much advertising, btw, can actually make someone look much worse. Let me explain.
