Jason Miller survived the "onslaught" of Damian Maia and damn, talk about a right & left hook by Paulo Thiago... He won the first round, even though it was fairly close. The second round was close too, but taunting began because of the crowd booing, and the head games begun. Thiago dropped his hands to taunt Swick, who landed a nice jab but then got carried away and countered with the hooks. That Darth's choke was a nice finish, it's what I wanted at the end of the Koscheck fight.
Love him or hate him Sonnen just pulled off a UD over Mardquart. I kept my mouth shut about my opinion because all of you people who predict on here chose Mardquart, but I knew in my heart Sonnen would pull it off. I've followed him since Bodog, and have always seen him as unrecognized much like Machida. You don't have to agree with his political beliefs or judgements upon others, but I like his wrestling and ground & pound. I do have a wrestling base myself though, so I'm probably biased.
