  • i hope you werent using the low compression LS pistons like most noobs do, keep the crank throw some ctr pistons and boom youre at 12.5 c/r rather than the 9.2 LS ones

  • This is an Old video when it was a stock civic. Its now built turbo now doing 430whp on stock sleeves.

  • @YADADIDIG ctr pistons in anything other then a ctr is asking for trouble plz dont listen to this person obviously he didnt read up on much about ctr pistons in ls vtecs or any other motor besides b16

  • @negusjuda i was just going by c/r but the domes are way too high i figured that out a lil later my bad go p30 or wiseco/je/urias etc

  • @superdave104 that where my car like it at. Anything befor that power will drop off at higher rpms. But this is an old video.

  • Making power at 8800rpm seems very high for stock GSR cams.

  • All u need is some to get some supertech valve springs and retainers u can turn the RPM to 9K with stock GSR cams with no problems.

  • dat ebay headers are gone. Im fully built turbo now. i dont have any dyno on it but i posted 1/8 mile track video. 165whp on DYNO Dynamic is pretty good due to it reading 18% lower. Dyno jet read 177

  • i hope you know you do not need to get a LS/vtec tuned just use a gsr ecu and vtec will kick when it is suppose too

  • Getting it tune is always a better solution to fix all the unessary thing that aint useful on a stock GSR ECU plus P28 is always better than a P72 anyways. Things you can do when getting it tune: Disable speed limiter, Disable o2 sensor, Change VTEC setpoint, Launch Control and better gas mileage on a new MAP without loosing power.  Plus gsr ecu made me loose power compare to a tuned p28. 50HP Look at the first run on da dyno sheet. The lowest number is on stock map, compare to the last run.

  • Agreed..being almost perfect on a tune is better than stock. This is my old setup, im not worry about all motor anymore... TURBO all day everyday.
