AFN Commercial - Talk to Your Child (Supermarket)

Obviously this commercial is made to be entertaining and to prove a point. Talking like that on occasion to your children at that age is actually very effective and keeps them engaged. Notice how the mother drops the farce at the end after playing around with the pizza, which suggests she is only acting silly in short spurts. But i realize this is the internet, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. I just wish people didn't feel the need to respond before actually thinking.

My mother is an elementary school teacher and she once asked a student's mother if she was talking to her other (2 year old) kid. Her answer: "No, why? He doesn't talk to me." ಠ_ಠ

@electrogeek77 Now, talking to babies and under-2 children like that is actually a good idea for them to learn language and vocabulary, which I think is what the ad is directing parents to do. But you're right, that child's like 4 years old or something, she should really talk more like an adult to him.
