Obviously this commercial is made to be entertaining and to prove a point. Talking like that on occasion to your children at that age is actually very effective and keeps them engaged. Notice how the mother drops the farce at the end after playing around with the pizza, which suggests she is only acting silly in short spurts. But i realize this is the internet, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. I just wish people didn't feel the need to respond before actually thinking.
@JenJenMcdee Yea, i am going to have to agree with you on this one. Any parent with children 3-10 know how much they love being silly, playing make believe, etc.
My mother is an elementary school teacher and she once asked a student's mother if she was talking to her other (2 year old) kid. Her answer: "No, why? He doesn't talk to me." ಠ_ಠ
Screw the hat! Get a damn umbrella if the rain is coming... I just hope this kid doesn't substitute his frozen pizza for a hat on a rainy day in the future.
lol I was always under the impression that this commercial would make people do just the opposite so they dont make an ass out of yourself like this woman.
0o0o0o we need a hat! and why do we need a hat????
@electrogeek77 Now, talking to babies and under-2 children like that is actually a good idea for them to learn language and vocabulary, which I think is what the ad is directing parents to do. But you're right, that child's like 4 years old or something, she should really talk more like an adult to him.

Um...so...I'm supposed to treat my children like they're incapable of understanding and comprehending the English language? Okay. Thanks AFN.

How about talking to your child like a human being instead of an imbecile?

I could not agree with you more! When kids are growing up, you should not baby-talk them like an imbecile.....
And LOL, the lobster in the tank was breaking wind! XD
