  • Thanks for sharing such a beautiful project. I know what you mean. I've developed something similar back in Chile, and I can't wait to purchase a little lot in the country (in Canada where I now live) and build my home and an ecosystem like yours... watch?v=7Ns12_ZxZPg

  • Great set up you got there pal!

  • beutifull place

  • your inspirational my good man! thank you for sharing your beautiful home. I hope to create an oasis like this for myself someday.

  • Thanks for your appreciation. They mean a lot. I hope someday comes soon for you. Even if you live in an apartment there is a lot you can do -- see the video by permacultre founder Bill Mollison doing just that.

  • Good job. thanks for sharing.

  • the future!

  • Can't make out the website at the end. Would you type it in your description or send it to me, please? Thanks! :)

  • We use a salt stick for under arm odor. Its works great and only cost $4, and last months.

  • you can just burn the glands by mixing baking soda and lime, and apply it to the underarms

  • what kind of personal hygiene products do you use shampoo soap etc etc? will normal products harm the life of plant and animal?

  • We do not use special personal hygiene products. However we have experienced two fish losses we believe were due to cleaners containing chlorine. Now we are careful to avoid such products. We use "Planet Earth" detergent for both dishes and laundry. The main pond acts as our primary indicator of system health and we watch it carefully. In general, I would describe the system as robust. It has been in operation for nearly 5 years.

  • Inspirational!

  • Where would you get Planet Earth Detergent?

Also, I took an Environmental Engineering Class, I thought I would learn how to reuse water etc... just learned how much ahrm is doen to the environment. But one thing learned was detergents and BOraz have high levels of Phosphorus which acts as a fetilizer. If I will use gray water for the garden/plants does it mater if I use Planet Earth or common detergents? Thank YOu for the video and for being good citizens
