  • Andy from ProGuitarShop brought me here. :)

  • ca c est du bon rock.

    .

  • Uma das melhores bandas britânicas! Sou muito fã !!

  • The SG was given to Pete Ham by George Harrison that he used on the 'Rooftop' Concert

  • QUE CLÁSSICO!!!!!!!

  • the guitarist got a Firebird!

  • G8 Song

  • Nice song

  • What still lingers? Pete was awesome!

  • Wow! Listen to Tom Evans harmonies on the last third of the song and at the end! What a great complimentary vocalist he was. Made Pete's hits just RING! And he sang beautifully on "Come And Get It". Not to mention wrote the chorus of "Without You". He wrote many fabulous songs, especially after Pete died. A true lost legend :(

  • this is one song that makes me feel emotion ;)

  • We love you and still miss you, Pete and Tommy <3

  • Good memories, please say no more.

  • Great version of this song. Thank you for sharing. Pity what happened to the two members. I hope they are making wonderful music on the other side.

  • classic song

  • Does this song define a time and era for any of you as much as does for me? I was in High School in those early days of the '70's. I was so idealistic, ignorantly throwing my emotions in with the 'Hippies," stomping against Nixon, feeling like 'love' could really conquer it all. I know it was youthful exuberance and not totally real, but I miss those feelings! I miss the raw lust , love and 'living it to the full' in comparison to what seems so 'surreal' in these days of Post 9'11.

  • @jeff62rey I could see what you mean. Everyone knows the word "nostalgia" but no one knows what it entails. Our understanding of things is always rudimentary in the past compared to now. That expression, "ignorance is bliss" is closely tied in here. The world before 9/11 was definitely not better. We still had Bush remember? America was still policing the world back then too. If anything, the golden years in this country were before Columbus.

  • There should be a movie about these guys and how they were treated in the rock world......

  • Now I've finally heard the band and can hear the influence they had on 'Big Star'.

  • the original innocence of rock...

  • Pete, you were a gem. You still are, thanks to the music you left us all.

  • LOVE Badfinger. Live or not. Damn good band that should have continued another ten years at least. Unfortunately they hired a crooked lawyer-agent who screwed them royally. Pete and Tom felt trapped artistically and they both offed themselves. Sad...

  • one of the most under rated bands of all time

  • wow, sexy track!

  • Kinda sounds like the Beatles is right they where a Beatle project can you hear the George Harrison

  • A terrific band ,underated ,overlooked and underappreciated. Now rediscovered by myself .

  • Beautiful. That is all I can say.

  • This song I love I sang it to my grandsons later in years. My youngest passed away with Brain Cancer in 2010 .When I hear this I can feel him in my arms again. I dedicate this to him,,Jalin Espinal 8/15/2001 To 03/06 2010 rIP my Darlin till we meet again I will always be with YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember every song by this group back then never knew was same group. Kinda sounds like the Beatles...funny though, might hear this and more on AM radio now but was AM last time heard them in 70s...now here on U tube is great as well as many more singers and groups...

  • I only chose to dislike this because it was a live performance...I asolutely love Badfinger and the song otherwise....

  • Great song....bad haircut

  • Dang, Tom! Them's some pipes!

  • Pete Ham had the voice! Joey Molland had the looks! What a waste,Tom and Pete committing suicide, took away one of the best bands of my teens.

  • Fantastic song, I was a teen then...thanks for the memories!!!

  • mrmantra69

Other labels wanted them, but they were unable to sign unless Polly released them from their contract with him...& he was not answering Pete's calls.

  • gives me COLD CHILLS,,,, awesome,

  • when they played real music not like the shit today

  • Love it so much very touching! :D

  • Great band, Pete Ham a favourite of George Harrison.

  • DE LAS MEJORES ROLAS SETENTERAS A GUEVO¡¡¡¡¡ CULEROS

  • Jellyfish did an awesome cover of this

  • Just a great tune, period.

  • Stan Polley I hope you're rotting in hell !!!

  • By the way, old music was modern music originally.

  • Turn it up and sing along is the only way I've heard this.

  • Another good song to put in the soundtrack of the next Austin Powers movie.

  • Great music back then. Original. Real music

  • Hail to

the old time rock n roll!!

  • PRISTINE LIVE.

  • Stan Polly was their manager who's guidance left them with nothing to fall back on when Apple Records dissolved...It's a shame that a talent like Pete Ham could not rise above this shuyster. The road to fame is littered with talented artists. You have to have thick skin and the temerity to push on when confronted by these scoundrels. If Ham was to take his own life he ought to have at the very least brought Polly along for the ride...forgive me.

  • COOL! lefty drummer

  • I love this band so much.

  • Long gone are the days when you could write and sing a song like this and not come off sounding like an incredibly naive little pixie.

So simple, so melodic, so full of youthful and idealistic ideas of love.

  • One of the very best songs of the 1970's.

  • Great raw Badfinger,it's not that todays music is so bad ,which it is ,i's the fact that wehad form in yesterday's music verse, hook etc. there doesn't seem to be much of that today.I don't know i just dug that sound, that time in music when playing and singing were signs of musicianship, where you can actually hear the verses.Rock on

  • damn, they were good....

  • <3 Now and Then movie

  • i remember seeing older guys with long hair like this at the pool when i was a child. it seemed cool but since i decided then & there to be a winner in life i decided never to be like that. i am glad i did. hippies were and are no good for society.

  • Great Vocals & Leslie Guitar ,Yeah!!!!

  • Listen up Justin,Lady GAggag,Ebony eye peas,Cher,etc...this is before autotune and sounds just right.Might not be perfect but who cares....Its real

  • NO matter what you do, this music will always be around, oooh girl wont you?

  • WOWWWWWWWWWW REALLY enjoyed this>>>TYVM for sharing it with us !!!!!!

  • BRAVO

  • Wonderful band, brilliant songwriting & singing. Am just discovering these guys. Very sad what happened to them.

  • Alice in England produces face from tube all over the world.

  • @TheRockandroll420 be thankful that you have your youth & hopefully most of your life still ahead of you ( cause 3 of these 4 guys in the band died young )& you can still enjoy this wonderful music thanks to all the great people posting this stuff on youtube

  • @TheRockandroll420 Same here bro. I hate new music which other people my age totally adore. This is the good stuff

  • @TheRockandroll420 I would go back in time for the music, but not for anything else if ya know what I mean. Well maybe movies, but not a lot else.

  • @TheRockandroll420 me 2 bro, i hat the new music styles comming out i wish i was born in like 59 so i could experience all this!

  • I dare anyone to mention just one current band that is this good.

  • @lancetop Rise Against. Easy. This is good too though I just learned it on guitar XD

  • @lancetop Animal Collective, in my humble opinion.

  • @lancetop Black eye beans...LOl (sarcasm)

  • @lancetop Jonas Brothers!! ; ) just pulling your chain, there is no music like this to be found nor may it ever be again..

  • @lancetop U2?

  • @bitterclinger100 Are you fucking kidding me?

  • thats because all the people generating the content for television are too young to know better!

  • one LP I bought twice, "No Dice" terrific songs that made other rich

  • this music is great it makes you have a special moment. music changes through time , but i just cant see it getting any better with the feeling i get whwn i hear this godliness stuff.

  • I finally found this song and couldn't remember who sang it! Love this song maybe cus I'm a huge Beatles fan!

  • joey looks a bit like paul mccartney

  • savage tune <3

  • ...the rotter's name is Stan Polly...piss on his grave!..how one could cause such pain is shameful...!

Why didn't another label pick up the band...anybody know ?...or we're they ?

and where we're the fab 4 when all of this was going down wern't they signed by the Beatles to the Apple label???

  • Tema realmente bello, banda repleta de matices y armonias...... muy buenos

  • In your face and lovin' it!

  • I know the history of the band

, per what I've read and my heart aches for what could have been, but my heart still sings when I play them! I'm 49 and still have a crush on Joey! My teen son loves them too! Badfinger, I thank you most sincerely for the most excellent music that will live on forever!

  • They were juts kids, and they were merciless exploited. Badfinger was finished by ruthless ambition of their executives, but that´s what happens to heroes.

  • whoa, who's that dude at the very end?

  • what a classic .,ripper of a tune,,,......

  • man i wish i was in that audience

  • A great song by a timeless band. What happened to them was a sin and a tradgedy. What that souless bastard could never take away from them was their music and it will continue to be listened to and enjoyed for generations.

  • very powerful song....up there with the Beatles

  • Paul, cover this. Would be great.

  • this drummer is a lot like Ringo...playing left handed on a right handed kit.

  • Tom Evans at 2:18!

  • what music is all about - a few lads together jamming, maybe naking some money gor their efforts........................

  • what a great guitar sound--and a haunting melody wlll done!

  • stop fighting here and enjoy the music!!!!!!!

  • awesome guitar effects and great recording, the sound is fantastic for back then, maybe the tube amps were part of the reason. Classic rock and vocals here.

  • cool

  • how many bands this young, die broke ! reminds me of the vanilla ice story, when he said the head nigger at death row records had his body guards have ice hangin over a balcony till v.ice signed his rights away!! a jew named polley stole all the money badfinger made.... dont ever trust a jew or nigger when it comes to your money..col. parch, atlanta

  • the way this band ended is a crying shame. pete ham is using george harrisons gibson sg by the way.

  • I love the live vocals on this clip; especially at 2.06 when he wavers the last word.

"If you would give me all-llllllllllllllll"!

  • My 1st 45 I remember putting on the turn table. 1970

  • Great!

  • originally supposed to be a beatles song, i always imagine john singing lead, paul and george on backing vocals, and of course richie on drums

  • I love that part at 2:05. What an incredible sound.

  • Just read (Without you) the book about Badfinger by Dan Matovina. Its awesome.I saw the Iveys, and cant believe such an fantastic band ended their career so tragically.

  • My favorite song by Badfinger!

  • i think they got shafted by apple records, & i think two of them killed themselves, one of the best all time songs!!!

  • Guh, I love this song. So much possibility, can't believed they got shafted so badly. But at the same time, it's so narrow-minded to say that old music is better than all modern music. The good stuff survived; most of the crap went into the trash bins after 5 years. The same is true for our generation. If you think there isn't any good music today, you aren't paying attention.

  • What a great song. I love the singing of the bass player, and the other guitar player(sorry, I don't know their names :( )

  • meh, a lot of the singers in less mainstream bands mostly mutter or sound cutesy..and when they try to be soulful it just isn't the same magic. and there's something about modern recording styles that makes modern songs sound too perfect. i mean i listen to some modern music, but older music has a more elevated and respected place in my heart. i've spent countless hours trying to find modern bands that i'd love way more than the classics, but none have piqued extreme interest for me.

  • A great welsh band from Abertawe

  • what ever happened to this group?

  • Badfinger's history shows that in the business you must ALWAYS keep your eyes opened and focused on who's running your BIZ, especially when it comes to managers and record companies. Sad to say, the innocent art side of the music business sometimes becomes a side issue in the grand scheme of things. Theirs is a lesson for ALL in the business. LONG LIVE BADFINGER!

  • "No matter what you are, I will always be with you..." s2

  • Simply a tremendous performance by Mr. Pete Ham.

  • I call myself a "child of the seventies". This music...retro...nothing like it.

  • YO QUE VIVE ESA EPOCA FORMIDABLE EN TODO CONCEPTO.

VEO A BADFINGER Y EN LOLA GENTE PENSABA QUE NERA THE BEATLES CON OTRO NOMBRE.

  • i was the 2323 thumbs up, and how could you dislike this song? Only a sociopath would dislike this.

  • Makes you want to grow a mustache go to a bar and play pacman table model.

  • lol @ 2:57

  • grrreat song, in my opinion :)

  • ooooh girl i still want yuuuuuu

  • its stood the test of time ,a classic

  • Love these songs from this era, but you have to admit, the damn camera crew did not have a damn clue.. Take this video, the band goes into the solo and the camera is stuck on the damn drum/symbols. WTF? None the less, you take what you can get when it's the only way to get it.. .and something is a hell of a lot better than nothing.

    Thanks for posting this!

  • The drums cymbals sound like a train crossing .... love it !!!!!!!

  • Esta é prá ti Telmoooooo

  • I get all warm listening to this------thanks for posting

  • im in the over 50 crowd there is tons of good music out there all that happened is radio died when they allowed mega corps to build a monopoly . but we got so much more You-tube and other sites i find it way more fun searching for great songs like this then waiting for clear channel to play it. we dont need radio any more. go find great music and make sure you post it on social networks to spread the word

  • why doesn`t it have more than 1,000,000 views????

    how`s that possible????

  • GREAT SONG "HEAR"!!!!!

  • They were just enormously talented, so under-rated. Ahh, it's the good and the brilliant... maybe too bright for this world. RIP boys

  • The only best version of this song! Love you, Badfinger!

  • Great Stuff

  • Pete Hamm ftw!!!!

  • My heart breaks every time I hear this..

  • a brilliant oldie. what a great band.

  • I love love love this song! It makes me happy.

So sorry to know that he was cheated.. "Without You" is a classic as well..

  • I have always loved this song, and it's even more poignant now that i know the history of the band. My fourteen year old son loves them also and has turned all of his friends on to them! May they live on forever! This song makes me so happy!

  • I agree with TOBERT, Badfinger,s story should be heard as a cautionary tale by anyone who is thinking of a career in professional music... Such a waste...

  • This song puts me in the best mood. Shame i'm growing up with kesha and rihanna.

  • Just don't make them like this anymore

  • Great....check out the MC at the end....what the????

  • One of the great tragedies of rock. They were a great band.

  • I think this is possibly the greatest pop song ever written.

  • Badfinger is awesome, but those of you thinking there's nothing good anymore just arent looking hard enough. its not mainstream nowadays... check out Plants & Animals, Soundtrack of our lives, Damien Jurado, Vampire Weekend... there are lots of great bands out there nowadays just under the radar.

  • @Matttttt3452336 I'm inclined to agree with you that there are some great bands out there still, but, they're few and far between nowadays. One of the bands of today that I think falls into that great category, is The Black Keys.

  • @Matttttt3452336 U R right. The problem with us over 50 crowd is that people had to be at least somewhat talented to make a record in the Badfinger era, so Top 40 radio offered lots of good music & you didn't have to search for it. Top 40 of 40 yrs ago had variety too. You actually got some country, gospel, reggae, mainstream vocal music and soul, along with hard rock & pop. Wasn't strange to hear Tom Jones, Steppenwolf, Johnny Cash, Sly & the Family Stone, Isley Bros and Beatles on 1 station.

  • Smashing.

  • IF you were to add up all the money that musicians had been cheated out of by their managers you could make quick work of the national debt.

  • I've loved this since "Now and Then"

  • This is one of the most-covered bands of all time. Quite an accomplishment for a group that only lasted a few years with a few charted hits. It says a lot about what they may have created if they had more time!!

  • Why the @#$%& is Miley Cyrus recommended in conjunction with this unparalleled piece of power pop?

  • Sweet! This is one great performance! Thanks!

  • Have this 45 record..... it's soooo an awsome song! Love it ! ppl these days just take for granted that these kinda bands played their own instruments! Wish I could have saw them in person but never got the chance>

  • Interesting dynamic between Ham and the bassist

  • The dynamic between Ham and the bassist is intriguing to me.

  • My God what an awesome band!

  • I can totally see John singing this song............

  • @CTFxCFTW77 yeah and paul harmonizing in the chorus =D

  • @Gnomitolindo I really wish The Beatles recorded their own version of this song. If they did I would love to hear it but I can't find it on YouTube.

  • What a voice Pete Ham has....amazing singer/songwriter.

  • The hair is legendary in it's own right.

  • The Beatles were/are modern prophets, and there are hidden messages and meanings in many of their songs. To learn how to perceive these hidden meanings, search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read through the section about The Beatles.

  • Great Music,**** Lady Gaga!!!

  • Great song, great band.....that harmony at 2:04 and 2:46 by Tom is a real ball-buster!!!

  • @ultraroadmap right on, I agree niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! that vocal is really in the moment and he is obviously feeling the music :)

  • @ultraroadmap I was gonna post exactly the same mate, you beat me to it.

  • did they shoot themselves? lol.

  • RIP....Pete Ham and Tom Evans...4ever remembered....

  • THIS IS A GREAT SONG, REMINDS ME OF A B.F. I HAD NO MATTER WHAT, HE ALWAYS LOVED ME

  • One of my all time favorite songs and band. Salute !!
