This is a GREAT recipe...Im gonna do it! One thing though...you could have cut this down into one video...bowls and cutting board are usually a given. Keep it up! Hope you dont mind constructive criticism
I usually love your recipes, but this one just wasn't very good in my opinion. It tasted like some strange unbaked ginger bread dough. Too much spices and the orange juice only made it worse.
I'm sorry for being so harsh, but I was so looking forward to this and I was so disappointed in the results. I think I'll play around with it a bit and see if I can come up with something more to my liking.
This is the best raw dessert recipe I have ever tried. Maybe you should check the type of ingredients you're using and possibly over processing, because mine turned out the exactly like these in the video and tasted exactly like cinnamon rolls....Mmmmm. Sorry that you had a bad experience.
I used to do stuff like this with a manual grinder and a knife before I got a food processor. It takes longer but the result is just as good. So lack of electricity is not really a problem. :)
make a solar cooker and use it in a shaded place probably (it probably won't get to hot that way). There's always a way to cook, or use the sun for sun dried things, mortar and pestle (spellcheck) to mush stuff after soaking. It would take longer but you could still do it. .
Do you soak those almonds before hand? Just wondering, after all, the phytates inhibit nutrient absorption. So it defeats the purpose of trying to eat "healthy". Neutralizing digestive enzymes.
I made these.. they were bang'n.. sooo good!
