  • Hey, probably will need to update this video when Microsoft Flight comes out. I saw in the forums you need a pretty hefty computer to run it at decent FPS :)

  • I have 8 gigs of ram and a GTX550 ti and a i5 and i cant come anywhere near this HOW DO YOU GET SUCH GOOD FRAMS and how do you get good graphics on a cheap card?

  • @Armydude771 FSX rarely uses more than 1-2 gigs of ram. Its a matter of certain settings that really kill fsx performance, you need to be sure and turn those off...people have done all the research for you already just look at the forums. Good luck.

  • Have a bad graphics cardfor the price I paid?

  • My old bisnuess computer broke and I have shipped over a pre built gaming computer made by krex and it has a 1TB hard drive and 8GB RAM for $669.99 does that mean I will

  • My graphics dont look that nice.

and im running on an ATi 5770 DirectX11 card. with 2gb memory

what the fuk am i missin here?

    cpu is Phenom2 3ghz QuadCore, 4gb ram, Windows 7 x64 etc.

its definatly not the computer, its a monster. wtf is going on here.

  • Probably some settings in your FSX that are screwing up your performance. I also have scenery add-ons which make it look better.

  • @japsrkawaii has to be the addons, got a name?

  • looks pretty real at first lol but awesome video dude

  • Awesome vid!

  • Why do you have affinity mask at 255 i thought that 4 core cpu it should be 15 ?

  • @dansku777 Your probably right, i'm no expert, just followed someone's advice too...

  • @eilif9 That's cool, dude.

  • I have a

     Intel Core I5 650 3.2ghz

    8gb ram

    Nvidia GT240 1 gb

As I see in your video?

  • i run a Core i3 - 530 @ 2.93 GHz, 8 GB of RAM and a GT 240 DDR3 1 GB.. i get 60 fps on lowest but if i try to increase it goes down to 4 fps , plz help ;(

  • @SavageLegacy28 I know that :) But do youknow what? if i turn the resolution up to MAXIMUM ( 1680x1050) the lagg dissappears! xD And then i can run it normally :)

  • how much was it ??

  • Whats the graphic card?

  • cheap! 5000 say what thats not cheap

  • @Ijinan14 overclocking is an easy way to get free performance from FSX. FSX does care about clock speed very much. Anything over 4 ghz will yield the best performance and frame rates. Just don't up the voltage too much or else you could fry the cpu/motherboard.

  • My definition of "cheap" and your definition seem to be somewhat different... Nice result, but "cheap" isn't what I'd call it.... I get my computers from people throwing away their old gaming gear ;-)

You should also count in the price of the operating system within the cost of your machine. Easily adds in another 175$

  • Sexy PC.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

  • These graphics are somewhat crappy. My laptop can do way better then this.

  • @TheMayor5000 Congratulations!

  • my friend, i think you did awesome!!! im sooo new to pc i havent even figured out what parts am i going to put together simply just for fsx....so a rule of thumb is: when you overclock, you water cool?

  • @50N1C800M

It's not really necessary to use water cooling to overclock. you can get similar results using an aftermarket fan cooler, but it will most likely make more noise than the water cooler. Also, water cooling kits like the CoolIT ECO A.L.C. are really easy to use and install as they are basically just a one peice kit that you install to your computer. They also put less weight on the motherboard than a fan cooler. You could overclock with the stock cooler, but not as much...Good luck!

  • @japsrkawaii thanks a million!

  • @50N1C800M not entirely. water cooling/liquid cooling is for extreme overclocking or enthusiasts (like me) who just want a nice cool system. using an aftermarket (not included with CPU or GPU) air cooler will allow for overclocking just fine. there are certain processors that water/liquid cooling is reccommended with (such a Phenom II X4's) when overclocking.

my rule for OC's: liquid cool if you push the +0.8Ghz threshhold (eg. 3.0 Ghz>4.0Ghz=hot processor)
