  • hey, that sound is through a midi keyboard?

Since, i don't have a midi, can i have some kinda 'randomise' option.

i mean ,how to play the samples in the nnxt?I load thesamples, but how do i hear them?(sorry, i am a beginner)

  • @mudithead You can hold down 'ALT' and click on the keyboard graphic, or enter some notes into the sequencer track for the NNXT

  • @mudithead thanks... cool

  • what pisses me of by reason is that you cant go into the smaple/waves and edit it, you must always start the sample form the start and thats very very annyoying!

  • @gigihitman Indeed, although you can adjust the point at wich the sample plays from using the 'Sample Start' control

  • worst sample eva,so fkn annoying

  • @yourdickson4 looooooooooooooooooool

  • Thanks.

  • LMAO your voice is amazing. (nohomo)

  • I'm having trouble playing back a wav file sample it doesn't have any sound when I loop it I can only hear sound if I go right back to the start any help would be cool?

  • awesome! this is the teq i was looking for!

    thanks!

  • d u know how to allocate automation to the controls on the nn-xt,? i know how to do it on all the other synths (right click on dial/button or press record etc) but it doesnt work on nnxt. really stuck, cannot fimd this info anywhere

  • You can't automate any controls in the remote editor, I assume because they are different depending on what sample is selected. You can only automate the global controls.

  • yeah, i was hoping that wasnt the case, i know they are sepeterate sample but i wish there was some way of highlighhting them all the changing the dials while recording. got a really nice sound that i wanna alternate but looks like ill have to use like 6 or 7 different nnxt's so i can change sound. safe for help anyway.

  • im glad that i have reason 4.0. I love the reverb and the equal's on this bad boy software. It feels like im in the studio. Thanks for the tips and i will get started to use nnxt. I want to know how could i sample a cd in my macbook with reason 4.0. Do i have to buy recycle. Please tell me i dont have to buy recycle. That thing cost $200 at guitar center

  • Great Job! Very clear fool proof demo.

  • When I click on the piano in my nnxt, it does not play the keys. Any suggestions?

  • Hold alt

  • when i set it to FWD Sustain, it doesn't finish playing the sample. i assume this isn't normal, right?

  • great :D

  • Cheers, bloody great tutorial this.

  • Great vid, thanks! But why the cockerel? lol

  • how can i put in like a 2 bar loop and have its speed go with the tempo without chopping it? im working on a beat and it sounds too choppy when i speed the tempo up. thanks :D

  • You would have to use some form of time stretching - not possible in Reason.

If you were not worried about the loop changing pitch, then you could just speed it up or slow it down using the pitch settings in the NNXT.

  • yea i fixed my problem. when i chopped it in recycle i just set the chops on every other grid mark and it wasnt as choppy when i sped up the tempo. thanks tho.
