This is true. My uncle saw him live a number of times and also said each time he saw him he would change the entire set he would do and cthe composition. Thats why the musicians involved with him were such juggernauts at what they did
Agreed, isn't that the whole point to FZ, I've searched for and listened to hundreds of Zappa concerts, because they are all unique, you will never hear a FZ solo played the same twice in a live performance. You will also never hear a bad Frank Zappa solo, Conceptual Continuity at its very best!
