Both good bikes, but I believe it depends on the RIDER. Like fighter aircraft...the machine will only deliver so much; skill wins the day-most of the time. Keep riding, guys!

Ive got a 86 XR600R,and a 03 KLR 650,the XR will spank the KLR in every way,

and its 50 cc smaller.so I KNOW a XR 650 R will spank a KLR BAD.

@barosse420 Entirely different bikes. The KLR is an enduro sure but it's heavy and caters to the street more than trail. XR600 is the opposite, it's more trail than street.

They are on ice over the mud thats why they are all over the place slipping on the ice then breaking through an dealing with all that mud underneath the ice. Its Sweden for Gods sake. They look like their having a great time.

Xr650R is a competition bike, but the KLR 650 is a good bike to enjoy in lazzy travels.

My XRR would have overheated right quick messin' around in the mud like that. Must not have any kind of temp gauge. At least they're having fun.
