Nah. After I restarted after this, I beat the game with no more problems. Though sometimes the Internet Channel freezes up on me, the games are all just fine.
yeah, i really think the black rupee was going to be a actual item in the game but then Nintendo wanted to remove it but didn't wuite delete all of its presence so when the game glitches it's gets replaced.
The black rupee is actually the first item code in the list (look at the AR codes for items). So I think after the game encountered an error, it reset the bow to a default icon.
haha! I know! Thankfully I haven't had any problems since, though I'm dreading the much more common Cannon glitch that's coming up. I've seen several people with that problem.
i ran around zora's domain for a little bit longer, just to make sure i wasn't completely screwed. everything else seemed fine, but i quickly got paranoid about all this random stuff becoming permanent, so I restarted after my camera crapped out.
the reason this one's so short is because my camera's battery died. what i said was, "where it's supposed to be, there's this black rupee icon" I freaked out after having no bow, then restarted

...Actually, it's just a textureless ruppee caused by code faulting from him glitching.

yup, tell me about it. I've since beaten the game though, and experienced no other problems besides random falling-off-the-map stuff.

Weird glitch! I wonder if that black rupee was originally going to be a true item in the game...
