The Violinist is excellent. Beautiful interpretation although it is a little faster than usual. The accompanist is too load and becoming a distraction especially in the middle part. He probably thought it is his recital. Oh well, Great Job for the violinist....5 STARS.

Violin is on the level of 7th grade of any Moscow Childern Music School. I am wondering why the audience is so happy. Never heard how it should be played and was played my Heifetz or Menuhin? We are degrading even not slowly but defintiely surely...

It's about the feel of the music, not always on who plays it. and why is the audience happy? For one they're probably not all critics. For another, people playing something such as the violin has greatly decreased, if you ever cared to look around. Most people op for the guitar or drums.

Haven't you ever played something with heart? I have. I play flute and love the feeling of just playing the notes and letting my fingers glide over the keys. Just let my instrument sing it out. That's music.

I played Viola in the Sinfonia Concertante by Mozart in the biggest Concert Hall of Tokyo.

In public you play not for yourself, and therefore your "feel of the music" should comply with the level of that of composer. Preferably, the level of the public should comply, too.

It was even more awesome because I had just started playing violin about two months prior to watching that show, and Schubert's Ave Maria was the song I always practiced on from the day I got it, and my first performance. XD

Never mind that I also did Pachelbel's Canon in D as my second performance too...
