Actually erica durance & Tom welling are the best actors to have played the roles of superman & lois lane only if they were the actors in the Man Of Steel next year
I just hope that Amy Adams will not only try to surpass Terri Hatcher and Kate Bosworth BUT try to hold a candle to Margot Kidder as Lois Lane in THE MAN OF STEEL.
Margot Kidder was the homeliest Lois Lane ever. I don't know what the producers were thinking when they cast her. Susan Blakely would have been a much better choice. I guess it didn't matter who played Lois since Chris Reeve was the star power then.
@flower4doll I heard she lost her teeth years ago for one thing - due to whatever happened or what she was doing at the time, and she wears false teeth - she sounds different when she speaks possibly due to that. And as she says, she does not fool around with plastic surgery and is aging naturally....guess you have to believe her.
@deadman00 Of course, your opinion is fine - everyone has one....Teri Hatcher is (just ok as an actress), I don't think she had the same acting talent as Lois, in my opinion. You may be thinking more of her appearance, rather than true acting ability...but then as you say, you prefer Teri Hatcher and that's your perfectly acceptable choice...
To me Hatcher really resinated as the charture. the big city girl with a romantic nature. she captured it well. ive also enjoyed how Erica Durance has been portraying Lois. she's quirky and spunky. i like that.
I dont know to me Kidder's lois came over as too much as a witch at times. im sorry but again thats my opinon. everyone sees things different. the lois in Superman Returns is not worth mentioning. but i eagerly await the new lois for the upcoming movie.

I think Margo was amazing as Lois,but my favorite would have to be Erica Durance.:)
I never really got into Kate Bosworth as Lois.

I am always enamored with Margot Kidder as Lois Lane. Christopher was awesome as Superman and Clark Kent. Brandon Routh seems alright to me.

@deadman00 No, she was fine as Lois. She wasn't the overly glamorous, phony just a natural kind of person. They worked well as Lois and Superman.
