Wow, what memories this brings back. I lived in Bensonhurst, 18 years ago. I walked by the Atlantic almost daily, rather jogged almost all the way to the Verazano sometimes. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much for making this video
Thank you for the video! That's my old neighborhood, only if you could have hit Bay 14 :)), but great video anyway, great memories, especially now that i live in Italy. Thanks
haha! were you drunk??! thats some random cycling there WTM! just kidding I know your trying to fit it all in. You passed the 'apartment' I lived in when I worked as a messenger for 1 rotton winter in NYC. When it got cold the the mice would pour into the block off the street, used to run across the floor when we ate dinner.
Bath Beach Part 3 - man - I did the same ride every week 55 years ago. Lived at 82nd St. & Bay Parkway. That building to the left at the extension of Bay Parkway was a Korvettes department store. The cracks in the bike path look about the same. Probably 2nd or 3rd time around. THERE WAS NO VERAZANO BRIDGE then. Just a ferry to Staten Island. Yes a FERRY and there weren't any apt. buildings on Staten Island. There were a few dairy farms, though!
I am going to put a Voodoo cuss on Bath beach Manhattan
